2nd season, 3rd plant. Exclusively used Growers Choice Seeds, have no complaints as of yet, strong genetics. The plant pictured is 1 of 2 Haze XL automatics that are growing strong, with the one not pictured a few days behind this one. Haze XL #1 (pictured) was germinated via 10 hour soak in purified water, 12 hour moist-paper-towel, then to soil. Haze XL #2 was 10 hour soak, then straight to soil. #1 germinated very strong and robust, #2 struggled slightly but pulled through and is right behind. Only given them purified water so far.
I went with Haze because of its reputation to tolerate hot, potentially humid climates. Week 1 (6/6-6/12) was very ideal, temps averaging in the high 80s with breezy evenings and occasional cool fronts. Week 2/3 will be the real test, with triple-digit weather coming in. On days above 100 they will be moved to a partial shade area during the hottest hours of the day.
Those Haze seem like they turned out well for you. I'm currently in week 6 of my own Haze XL grow. I ordered my seeds from GC as well. I'm starting week 7 though and still no flower.
