This is my second attempt at a diary.
Growing in a 4'x5'x6'9" 2 in 1 grow tent.
Started 3 seeds in ph6.5 water. 2 days in water then in 5 gallon buckets. 2 days later all 3 seeds sprouted through soil. Started 4th seed 1 week later, still a white widow autoflower. 4th seed I sowed directly in soil. 3 days later that seed sprouted.
Week 4 was another great week of growing. Increased nutrients to 1/2 tsp gallon. Also giving molasses. All plants are now drinking 32 oz every 2.5 days.
Week 5 showed buds. Stopped with molasses. Plants seemed to do well with molasses. Getting very hot and humid in my neck of the woods. Got a little leaf corkscrew from heat stress I'm guessing. Plants are drinking about half gallon of water every 2 days. For whatever reason I'm not able to upload pictures now, so 1 picture for week 5 sorry.
This week has been more hot and humid. Plants growing great. 1 plant in 2 gallon is a week behind. Seems small but it is in a 2 gallon pot. All plants getting 1/2 gallon to drink still, on off water/neuts. Added some cal mag. Plants are getting bigger then I expected. In description it did say compact plants 20-24 inches tall. Not that getting a bigger plant is all bad :)
Week 8 I continued with cal mag. Watering about 3/4 gallon now. One plant is now 41 inches. The 2 gallon smart pot plant is catching up with the others for hight but looks a little thin. The tall plant looks a little thin also but lots of buds, and I'm sure will fill out a little. The other 2 plants seem thicker and bushy. The smell is getting a little stronger but that could be from the gold leaf I'm now growing for scrog (another diary soon 😉 ) it smells a little peppery.
Week 9 was a hot one! Also one plant decided it didnt like all the nutrients, all plants getting the same 1/2tsp per gallon. It's still growing good but ugly. The plants are growing at diffrent speeds. I think the ugly one is very close to harvest. About 40-50% red hairs. All plants drinking 1 gallon every 2-4 days.
Week 10 was good. Had to take 1 plant. Introduced a dehumidifier in tent as the RH was getting in the 80% here were I live. Humidity levels are now between 45 and 55%. All white widows are only drinking ph water and some cal mag.
Smell is super strong. The 2 white widow autoflowers will probably be harvested next week. There is 1 more WWA in side tent in 2 gallon smart pot. It's much smaller. It's about 1 week behind. The other plant is a Gold Leaf just going into flowering. Maybe another diary.
Week 13 took my second plant. 30 gram top wet. Will take 3rd plant in a day or 2. 4th plant still week behind but looks more like 2. Plants only drinking ph water @ 1 gallon every 3-4 days.
Plant 1 taken 2 weeks early due to calcium deficiency
Wet weight 250 g
Wet trim weight 30g
1.5 oz dried bud
.5 oz dried trim
Plant 2
454 g wet weight
28 g wet trim weight
2.75 oz dried bud
.5 oz dried trim
Plant 3
Wet 460g
Dried 2.25oz
Dried trim .75 oz
Wet trimmed 2 plants dry trimmed 1 wanted to see diffrence in quality. Wet trim looks great but airy buds. dry trim seems more dense buds.
Taste is earthy, and sweet before and after cure. Cure seems to enhance flavor but not alot.
The buzz is out of this world. Some of the best I've had in awhile. Maybe because I grew it but I dunno. Was fun to grow as a first time grower. My next is a Gold Leaf.
@Electroculture, the plant I took was 100% cloudy. Few amber. Didnt take long to change like a couple days. The harvested plant looks like a good yield.
@@Athos,
Well. Idk if I agree with this.. I guess it depends on what nutes youre using.. With salt/synthetic nutes I think it is important asf to check runoff.. Whether in soil or coco.. I mean.. Unless you can just tell when you get salt buildups.. But in my opinion I believe checking runoff is a must.. I have ALWAYS checked it.. Especially since I was getting major salt buildups.. Although, lately I can kinda just "tell" when its happening.. If you start getting any deficiencies or nute burns.. Its a great idea to check the runoff pH and PPM.. Just my 2 pesos on the subject.. Lol
@@Athos, I was just curious. I've heard alot of people saying check your runoff (not to me). So I checked and was surprised to see it so acidic. The plants seem to do well in this soil.
Looking great growmie! She isn't a fat producer.. But the finished product comes out pretty dank! I just started another WW Auto since I've ran out lol!! Again.. Looking fucking great! 👍👍👍
I'll say they took off. I really wasnt expecting these to get so big. I was planning on getting a qp out of the grow, but I'm thinking closer to a half. We got some hot temps recently and 1 of my babies got a little stressed. Shes ok I think and hope.
