So these two fell victim to noob growing once again. I used some crappy soiless medium to start them. I had them under 134watts of florecent light 75watt 6in. Away from tops and 2 42watt cfl on both sides 2-3inches from seedlings for roughly 14days. Im almost positive i over watered because shortly after noticing burns the medium started to green. Transplanted them into same medium with added perlite once they had 3 nodes. Recently put them under my 1000watt hps 28 inches below bulb and out abit. I used a free lux meter app saying theres 40k-60k lux above the tops. Im currently germinatong my last pk auto seed and bought promix bx for medium this time around so well see if i can correct my previous mistakes with this one.
Transplanted them 3days ago phed 6.0 water during transplant. Today gave them alittle of the new nutes at 1/4 strenght i got see how things work out. Pk c is just about here !
Not really sure if its me but under my light the new growth kind of looks lime greenish yellow. I fed them a half dose of what my nutrients call transition to flower (theyre both starting to show a couple pistils) and a quarter dose the feeding before that and just ph'd h20 at 6.0 the feeding before that one. Any advice would help. Oh yeah ph was 6.4 going in and 6.0 coming out.
They started showing signs of deficiency again last week it was due to be flushed (nutrients recommendations) so i just did it not really giving it a thought. It looks much worst in person than the pictures but theyre both shaking it rough so i doubled their nutes i was thinking of tripling the camg+ because i use heavily filtered water. Oh and i just gave them 2l of water each because its been 5 days since i flushed them and the grounds still wetish. idk time will tell they both only have 3weeks left for a&b.
pk a&b due to finish in 13-18 days just in time to register for my first giveway contest or whatever. pk c im just letting grow as a tree just to compare yeilds even though it will be getting 12hrs lights for a month were a&b got no less than 18hrs.
Just gave them filtered water for flush. I have not purchased a magnifying glass yet so im just harvesting by the percentage of red hair 80/20. I dont recall which bud shots are from a or b but one of seems to be closer to harvest than the other. Advise would be greatly appreciated.
So i took down pk a a few days after her last photos most of her hairs red and receded. 160g wet. Pk b still alot of white hairs buds turning a tint of purple just keeps growing.
Doing much better than the first two at this stage but still not 100% satisfied with myself. Shes got abit of burn from being to hot and looks like abit of nutrient burn. Learning day to day.
It's all a learning process my friend, i myself have made some errors Nd am learning from the amazing community here at GD. Check out my journals if you'd like. My NL diary is sort of disastrous 😂 good luck and happy growing!
@Sggtfghkirer, no problem ;) they could have used those bigger containers during veg. I don't usually grow autoflowers indoor, but from what I've seen they are put in the bigger container as soon as they are transplanted like a seedling, or put in and grown as a seed from the start in the bigger container.
As a rule, I don't transplant when plants are in flower, no matter how you do it, it's still going to be stress to the plants, which may cause some of them to go bezerk or hermaphrodite or just stun them - all of which are bad.
@bobo420,
Hey I meant to reply to your last post. Do you think I should up them to 10g bin? They should be done in another 30-35 days (hopefully sooner so I can put the diary up for diary of the month). And thank you!
When you think she's ready for harvest,
wait another 10 days after that day and you will have a blast of a smoke.
if you don't believe it, remove a couple of smaller buds to taste in wait for the 10 days.
Yeah nothing ever finishes on schedule especially autos. Well, not never but rarely ime.
You're a bit more than 18 days out. However, you're flat, fat, and bushy! looking good for yield =)
@Jaindoh,
Thanks alot. I was hoping to get in on a contest but ill take the extra week or 2 of growth. Also though i was not expecting to veg my photos that long. Would switching to 12/12 really effect their yeild that much?
