well i have to tell you this will be my best yield ever! the buds are rock hard and i was shocked to get so much wet weight from 4 plant under 270W light in a grow room 80x80x180 !! the total wet weight from 4 plants is 2265 gr of wet buds. i'm really amazed by the result and what is the reason for this? maybe the new Quantum Board lights? maybe the Advance nutrient? is it the Bud swelling Technique? or good genetics? well i'm guessing all combined made this to be my best harvest yet! i'm really seeing an big influence in buds getting bigger and rock hard since i started with the bud swelling. when i look at my previous diary of Glueberry and Girl sCout Cookies i did not use bud swelling and started with the technique when i grew the auto Ultimate i can see a difference in gaining weight and also the buds getting bigger and harder. so i will be using this technique the rest of my growing days :-) well i will give you an update of the Dry weight when it is dry enough to put it in de jar to cure! i'm guessing around 400/500 Gr dry weight . my best harvest ever and using smaller space now :-) i'm really happy and did not expected such a big harvest as you can see i had to improvise to get it all dry since i had to find space outside my drying rack because it's full. update in about a week till 10 days when it's dry! Cheers UPDATE!!! Well after 8 days of drying i put the weed into jars for curing!! the total weight of dry weed from 4 plants is 433 gr i'm very pleased with the result. this is my best harvest since i started growing : 1: so according to my calculations if you devide 433 gr by Watts used to my 270W light i should have done 1,6 Gram/Watt 😁 extremely happy and the buds looks very shiny from frost and are very dense 0

Solved
Leaves. Curl up

Green09Rangeranswered grow question 7 years ago
Hi friend! Curling up can happen due to heat stress, high humidity levels or root problems, like over watering them. Nitrogen deficiency makes the plant look pale, lime green. Try to find some lower leaves that look too yellow and try to pull them off, if it's hard to pull off, no nitrogen deficiency, because leaves use to fall for their own when it happens. They should not look pale or lime green, when it happens plants use to have some problem and they grow slow. Like you have said, numer 1 is growing slow than others, so yes, maybe you got some nitrogen deficiency bro. It maybe could be some iron problems, but I dont think so.. but check for yellow new leaves too. Iron just affect the new growth. Like you said you have raised the light, try to raise the nutrients too, maybe they just have used up all the soil nutrition and need some more now. Happy grow!

It’s a good problem when there’s not enough space on the drying racks 😄👍
JUNGLE_B4RNS
JUNGLE_B4RNScommented7 years ago
@Bluesbreeder, next step on the scale of the positive problem is to have more weed than you can smoke 😄

indeed, ı dont understand this issue... trichomes turn milky from clear after flushing ? when should ı flush her ?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@emerald,hey No they don't turn milkey after flushing! they turn milkey because they are ready and there time has come to harvest. you just need to check your plant and then gamble a little when you are going to flush it. and when you think it's nearly ready just give plain water for 1 week or more and then harvest.

19 galon ? or litre ? when will u harvest ? :)
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@emerald,yes my medium is Coco mixed with perlite! coco is a soilless medium! so it's normal i use coco fertilizer with this medium.
emerald
emeraldcommented7 years ago
@Bluesbreeder, I follow this grow :) but ı wanna say, your medium is soilness (light mix or e.tc) but your main fertilizers are coco series. it isnt matter ?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@emerald,it's liters ! i don't know what went wrong! i corrected it in diary. don't know when the harvest is depends on the trichomes. normally in 4 weeks!

I’ve looked at these, they are sold out , I’m going to try the cobs first , I think the intensity is slightly better 👍
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@BigDaddyK,no not really . You can easily put your hand on top of the light.
BigDaddyK
BigDaddyKcommented7 years ago
@Bluesbreeder,what is the heat output ? Is it even noticeable ?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@BigDaddyK, i'm guessing they are both very good ! i did some research on internet and for the space i have the QB's was personally better for me. but i was going to buy Cob's but then i ran into Quantum boards . You can use cobs with lenses and they have excellent results but i'm in a small room and the distance from cob to plant would have become an issue ! the QB's can get closer to the plants before burning them. that was my conclusion from the research that's why i went for QB's and was fortunate that they where in stock at that point.

hi, First of all, amazing grow. let me ask you, did you run the QBs 24/0 or 18/6 or 20/4?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented6 years ago
@ExtaciPT,thanks was my best grow in weight. i run the QB's for 20/4 it hink this is the best . the plants get 4 hours of darkness and the lights can rest for a while also.

how sonyou like the drying racks vs. hanging? I am considering trying it out
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@soxfan890,well when i started out i bought the drying racks it just looked more easy to me at the time. and personally i think it works better for me to dry it this way. i also cut the big buds into smaller pieces just to reduce the risk of mold when drying so when you hang them you can't do that. just my thoughts about it 👍

You want to make sure that you don't let the temperature go below 20C. Otherewise the wounds will get rot . 👍
