I am growing 3 strains, and started with the A. Haze 12 days before the Stress Killer and Fat bananas. I was off to a very bumpy start, properly overdoing everything as this being my first attempt to grow. of the mistakes I learned I will mention. -not planting direct in the big pots, So I did this with the Stress killer and Fat Bananas -over watering -to much RH% (85%)- at one point it started to smell of mold. I opened the door and made some air flow into the bath room where I have placed my custom grow room. -not measuring the PH of the first water to the seedlings. I was adding a tsp of vinegar to the water, which left it way to low on PH. -the Root explosion was added later to the coco soil as I thought the seedling were a bit small. it should have been added from day one, so actually the Amnesia Haze was left with out nutrition the first week.

The RQS Fat bananas and Stress Killer seems okay, 2 plants, one each strain are looking a bit small, but lets see how they turn out. I am a bit worried about the fat bananas as they should only have 55 days from seed to harvest.

the plants definitely liked the root explosion. they look very healthy. I have added a dehumidifier and opened op the door to the room, so I feel the RH% and temp are as best as I possible can do with the condition here. I have added another fan that is oscillating and a bit quieter than the former. over the past 3 weeks I have only watered when pots seemed dry. so it was around every 3rd day. they were given 0.5 L one AH is a bit small compared to the other.

I've notice some brown spot on one of the 3 Fat Bananas. I think it is due to calcium deficiency. I am not sure though, as this is the only plant of the 11 in the garden, which are having this issue . What do you think?

Week5, some of the plants looked like they suffered from either to much heat or too much water. I stopped watering for 3 days, but it did not change anything, in fact they seem to enjoy some water when they finally had some. So I have opned up the room and put in some more airflow. this lowered the temp 3 degrees, and still the RH is around 45-50% so this should be good. I did a FIMing on one HA, just to see how it will turn out. it was taken on the 4th node. Hight is a bit hard to measure as I also did a LST, but it seem to have grown 5 cm since last picture AH. Day 34, added some more LST on the AH. I still think they are a bit small, but properly because of the first week of no Nutrition in coco. I will need to learn from this in the future. The coco was not buffed or prepared properly as well. Still no sign of pistils, but I see in other diaries this will show around day 38. I was always careful not over watering, but was really left with no experience here. many different approaches on the subject, and I've also notes some brown spots on one of the Fat bananas. I concluded it was due to nutrition deficiency, and maybe I was feeding and perhaps under watering a bit. So I have decided to try watering with a Garden Sprayer Air Pressure to distribute the feeding more slow and evenly over all the surface. I will add more water, but only every 2nd day, and perhaps throw in a complete flush every now and then. this feeding schedule will also produce some runoff, which I will be testing next week when my new TDS meter will arrive. Until now the runoff is 6.5 PH so this is good. I have notice that my nutrition/Water beholder has changed the PH and lowered it over a few days. Perhaps due to the root explosion added in there(with a bit of sugar), as these are living micros feeding of the sugar, and multiplying in there. So I will be measuring the PH every time before feeding the plants

I've notice that at one of the plants in each strain are notable smaller than the rest, all from seedling. Strains are all autos from RQS, Amnesia Haze, Fat banana, Stress Killer. They are on the same feeding schedule. Is this normal, and what are causing this?

I'm with GM. Different beans all carry different genetics. Two from the same pack can end up looking totally different. I have that example three times over in my tent as each strain i'm growing has two phenotypes in my tent each. It's amazing how nature works.. Happy growing Friend! 👊

So I have discovered Fungus Gnats. I stopped watering for one day. placed Perlite on top on all the plants, brought Flytraps, and placed a bowl with vinegar and a drop of soap in the garden. Fly trap is definitely working About the watering and feeding. I have made the conclusion that I need a watering strategy and try and stick to this. I will feed as much every day that it will produce runoff around 1-1,5L/plant. also I have adjusted the EC to around 1.7 in week 6 and actually aiming for +200-300 in the runoff. It's a huge subject and as a noob grower it can be very overwhelming and frustration on what to do. So what I did was read a lot on the subject, and ask some questions. Still many different opinions. But mainly I took the information from here https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-cannabis-water-quality-part-2-ppm-ec-n298 and here https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/ectargets/ one sites says early bloom is 1,9-2-0 and other says 1,1-1,4 which is backed up by https://www.mandalaseeds.com/Guides/Fertilizing-Smart-Guide so I think I would be in the safe zone as around the middle, and also take into consideration that my tap water is 0.4 EC I will observe, but the AH seems fine, it is the younger FB and SK that perhaps was overfed a bit. (see my grow question) The reason is obvious as I was a bit lazy and just fed them the same as the 12 days older plants. It has been adjusted now, and I will monitoring the runoff in a few days. EC is now 1.4 for FB and SK The AH started to show the gender today- all females :-) exactly as this fellow grower did see, on the same day 38 https://growdiaries.com/diaries/4823-amnesia-haze-auto-by-magnetous/week/23434 day 31: The FB and SK made it into week 5, but no signs of sex. the EC are a bit high, around 1.9 ms but it's still not as much as the 12 days older AH. I will lower the inflow a bit. the SK looks amazing, though one is a bit small. The FB still shows signs of problems with some brows spots on the leafs I topped one FB and also took off some fan's I also topped the smallest SK Day40 FB and SK had a new round of LST. the small SK did not respond so good the the topping, but the other one did. Perhaps the small one should have been discarded from the beginning, but at this is my first grow, I want to learn, and see the development of all plants. Since I started to lower EC to 1.4, but fertigate twice a day 2 x 1 L, they respond amazingly, and seem to grow quicker now. the runoff is also within the +300EC range so everything is perfect. I also lowered the light to around 40 cm from the top. I have received my Aqua Medic platinum line plus 24V but I am still in doubt if I want to change water in the middle of the grow. let see...

on the 43 day I have again measured to high EC in the runnoff, around 4.0. I have flushed all plants with plain tap water, and will lower the inflow. I think this is why, some of the plants are having a hard time show the sex some plants are beginning to show sex, so far all ladies :-) I did a major LST on all plants, it looks like they already have recovered in one day. My PH meter got submerged so I had to look for a replacement. Amazon was able to deliver within one day so I've upgraded to a Bluelab Guardian Monitor, with external probes. I was having an issue with EC and runoff the past week, and to my horror I actually measured the tap water to an EC on 0.8. that's it! I have ordered an revers osmosis Aqua Medic platinum line plus 24V. I paid 276 euro inc tax and shipping. this is actually a fair price. but until now I will lower my inflow to 1.4 EC. I have also stopped using the BUD explosion, as the supplier schedule only added this in the feeding in week 1 of flowering. It will be added later in the flowering again, around 3 weeks from harvest. My inflow and mix will be in the ratio which the supplier instructed in the feeding table, however I will only mix half the dosages. day 47. I don't think my ladies are big enough, it can be very frustrating not knowing what is wrong. I see examples here on grow that are way bigger, but also grow that are around the same. I've started to look at the lights, perhaps they are not getting enough lights due to the distance and the inline arrangement they are hung. I have lowered them to around 40 cm from the tops, and measured the lux to around 60k-90k with an Iphone app. This will have to do for now and I will observe how they are doing. Someone told me to change my medium to soil less as this is coco. I didn't know other than elsewhere coco is classified as hydroponics..kinda of.. :-) it's change now. Learning new stuff every day. I have decided to add some bud explosion for the next week as well 1ml/l, but I have increased the dosage to 1L per plant 2 times a day Day 47: All FB and SK had an LST today

I have discovered that my tap water has an EC of 0.8. this led me to order a reverse osmosis filter, but my question is this: what are peoples opinion on changing from tap water to osmosis water in the middle of a grow? Plan is to monitor the EC so it will be the same as before

RO is best because you know what you're feeding your girls. Your soiless not hydroponics. Its a form of hydroponics but hydroponics is in water, clay pebbles, rockwool etc. Best to change your info to soiless so people know how to help you. Coco and promix is soiless medium. Coco you will need to add cal/mg promix you don't. Only add cal/mg if you see they need it. Coco you feed feed feed water, promix is feed Monday, water next time when dry, etc. When you switch to flower time 12 12, you should keep ph at veg levels and when you see pistols forming is when you go to 6.0 to 6.3 ph. Cheers friend

AH day 52. look amazing and growing rapidly. respond very well to the LST. small nuggets are showing. I have set up the RO water filter, and are producing 0.0EC water now. I need to contact bigplantscience tomorrow and hear about nutrient mix for this kind of water. Day 55(and 43 for the FB and SK) I am convinced that my grow light is not efficient, and this is why the flowers have not developed more that they have. I have ordered two Mars Hydro TS 3000W, so lets hope it is not too late. I have notes a few leaves with the crow on the tips, I don't think it's alarming as it is only a few. I have made a video of the setup Day 59 FB- omg it has growed so much. the 20L pot has the root going out of the fabric. I cannot LST it anymore, so I will let it grow. Day 59 SK it is in 2nd place but supposedly is will have more weeks in flower that the FB. The past week I have adjusted the RO to contain 1.0 EC for the FB and SK and the runoff is actually lower. Don't know if this is a good thing or not. I have also increased the fertigation to 1,5 L twice a day.

Day 57: 5 days of running RO water, and the ladies starts to show some minor Calcium deficiency, and Phosphorus Excess. at least this is what I think it is. About the Phosphorus Excess goes also very well with BIG plants advice against running Stimulus and Bud explosion at the same time. I have been done this for 2 weeks. (they actually have one week of this in early flowering in the feeding schedule, but generally advise against it) So I will take Bud Exp. out in the next mix. For the Calcium deficiency I will ad some more B, as I already are on the low side of the recommendation. The mix with RO water is a little tricky. before I've added only half the dosage, but now it seems like I need to ad accordingly to schedule, to make up an EC of 1.2 I am still adding 2x1 L for every lady a day Day 59: All ladies received another LST training. I have received the Mars Hydro TS 3000W and set it up. Day 63, the Fat banana, is killing it, it is a beast, OMG it is so bushy and around 65 cm high now, but the flower is still small. the biggest one has some dark color on the leafs expanding from the flower. The main stem is so thick. around 3 cm. I took all ladies out today and I notice that the FB was almost dry. perhaps it is not getting enough water. I will increase the fertigation to 3 times a day for the FB Day 63 the Stress killers are also looking amazing and just smell good, very citrus Trimmed out all the lover and small flowers, I don't think they will develop.

The past week I have adjusted the RO to contain 1.1 EC for the AH and the runoff is a bit lower. Don't know if this is a good thing or not. I have also increased the fertigation to 1,5 L twice a day. I have set up the AC infinity inline Quiet T10, but the carbon filter has not yet arrived. Overall all ladies are looking good. some minor Potassium, Calcium, and Phosphorous excess and deficiency are shown on a few leafs, but I think it's nothing to worries about Day 68-70- the FB and SK were really taking off, especially the FB. omg they are beasts. I need to water them 3 times a day now. due to the Bud rot I have found(see week 12) om the AH, I've decided to do some defoliation- big time- A lot of small nuggets(or popcorn's?) were in the bottom of all plants, also so many fan leafs that no air was circulating the plants. Also due to high outside humidity I was struggling to maintain- but was several times around 65%RH I think I've got it under control now. the weather has changes so RH% is around 45% outside. and I have the windows open to cool the garden as well

The carbon filter came today. Hopefully it will take the smell from the house. the AH day 79 looks great, but I still think it will develop some more over the next few weeks. it has an earthy kind of smell, but the least smelly of the ladies. I took out some of the minor flowers from the lower stem. I don't think they would develop. I am running low on nutrient form BIG plant Science, so I have decided to switch it with nutrient from GHE. it took some time to research but it is about 2/3 of the price of Big P.S. also I purchased 5L of the Trio, and added some CalMag, and Diamond nectar to the purchased as well. I think I will have for the next batch with this nutrient. FB day 74- I will begin to Ripen them tomorrow SK day 74: However the SK don't look quite ready yet. it is a CBD plant and the amber is starting to show, but the THC still looks glassy to me. I will wait and see.

AH day 78-80 I've found But rot, and removed the entire buds- over the week there was 3 huge buds that was infected :-( I have also switched to GHE nutrition, but I don't feel it was the right decision other that saving money. Too many problems, yellow leafs and other symptoms appear, but I cannot tell if this is the autos last call. I have began to ripen the AH's now. But it is hard to tell when looking at the tricomes if they are ready. I still feel they are kind of glassy, but defiantly not any amber colored. I will watch them over the next week, but I think they need to be ready soon.

HA day 86, I have begun to add GHE Ripen to the mix. I think they are ready to be harvested within a week. I took my normal camera with a 100mm Macro lens, and I can now see the amber tricomes- it is ready SK and FB has been given ripen for 5 days, I think they will be ready soon. The FB is just a killer size, I am really stoked about how they are growing. I think it shows that I am doing something right. I weighed one of FB plants and is has at least 4,5 kg. in a 20 L pot not all filled, with a total of 10,5 kg using coco. FB and SK day 88 took some pic with the microscope, I think they look ready to harvest. a few amber tricomes are poping up, so I began flush them today. I think I will continue for 5 days, but monitoring them close. The buds from SK I harvested a few of, are discarded as they had rotten

Looks like pretty much all of the pistils except for a very few have wilted, so you could harvest now. - Depending on whether you like a high or a stoned smoke tho, I'd look at the trichomes. The more amber trichomes you got, the more of a stoned smoke you'll get from the buds.
