Transplanted her a few days ago and didn't run into any problems. I am experiencing some heat issues due to a heat wave. I have a portable AC unit on the way so we should be good here in a few days. UPDATE: Received my portable AC unit. Tent is at 83 degrees with 55 RH. I have also started to put her outside in the mornings so she can soak up the sun then after a few hours putting her back under the light. UPDATE #2: Had to transplant today. Lost about 4 inches of depth in my soil. I was afraid there wouldn't be enough.

How long do you continue to light stress train?

Outdoors, you can stop right at flower. No reason to train after that, you got plenty of penetration and height isn't as much of a problem. Indoor, you should stop after the 2nd week of flower (1st in my opinion, but experts seem to agree that LST in week 2 is fine if necessary).

I continue to do lst work on branches up until the end of flowering stretch . That ensures u maintain your even canopy until vertical growth is reduced. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Once an Auto begins to flower do you switch to a 12/12 light schedule?

no part of the benefit of autos is the ability to run 16-20-24 hours of light during flower. 18 seems to be the most common number for auto flower growers...

You absolutely can, but it will hurt potency and yield. I have kept mine on an 18/6 schedule throughout. If you have stealth reasons or energy concerns, they will do fine under 12/12. Otherwise stick with 18 hours or more of light.

Good job on the LST, but I THINK the metal against the plant is not good. I use #12 solid copper wire, the insulation goes against the plant. And you have to keep doing it, keep training that plant low.

I'm just finishing a CP auto grow. My first. I had a lot of problems - overnuted, overwatered, etc., They take a while to finish up. You might consider some LST on that plant.

@stumay111, thanks for getting back to me. I will check out pics on your WWA grow.

@kjones1423, low stress training. Google is your friend! I have some pictures on my WWA grow. The idea is to bend the main stem so it stays even with the nodes below, which will then get bigger, and so on. Google it. I trashed some plants until I started googling and NOT BELIEVING EVERYTHING I READ :). I look at lots of sources and see what works best.

LST appears to work, but I have a theory on this , and please hear me out Newbies know nothing and they don’t LST. They let plants go au naturèl. As their skills and knowledge increase, their plants do better with bigger buds and yields. And they typically LST as they become experienced. I suggest take away the LST and the yield remains. It’s the knowledge and skill that grew the buds, not LST. Try it! Leave a plant untopped and see if the yield is lower My method could be called XLST I suppose. Extreme low stress training. I do brush my branches lovingly downward to spread them out, like I’m petting a dog. And I separate the top cola leaves and pull them downward just a bit. This sends the plant the message “I have hit an obstruction to vertical growth. I will grow my side branches out” I just love apex buds and don’t have the heart to top plants anymore! Happy growing. Enjoy your harvest

@growdoctordc,thanks for the tip. I was running out of room fast if I were to continue on with LST.

I'm completely in agreement with growdoctordc's comment on LST. It never ceases to amaze me that so many new aggressive growers feel the never-ending need to reinvent Nature, and that they are so positive they're the only ones to know what is needed to "correct" the natural proclivities of Sweet Lady Jane. Slow and steady wins the race...

Nice to see your starting out low on the nutes, always best... Watch for deficiencies, easy to tell their deficiencies when your low on your nutes and just increases as neccessary. When it comes time for flower nutes, do the same. Cut it back and increase as neccessary. Your doing great my friend. Cheers
