This comes from Wildwood Seeds. He is a breeder that I traded some seeds with on Reddit. He made these seeds using Double Grape Genetics from Mephisto Genetics. He used Colloidal Silver to reverse a double grape plant and then used that pollen to pollinate another Mephisto double grape. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out.
The nutrient ratios listed are per gallon of soil.
I will be vegging it inside under a grow light until it starts to stink up the place, then it gets moved outdoors.
This is my first time growing a home breeder's seeds. The guy that I got these from is an awesome dude. I'm really looking forward to growing some of his plants.
My plan is to LST while vegging then let her grow naturally once she gets moved outdoors.
Once she gets two or three nodes I will start giving regular waterings with water pH'd to 6.3. Until then I will just be spraying the leaves and keeping the top layer of soil moist.
My grow medium is Golfgreen's organic vegetable mix soil with compost, peat, and kelp. It isn't a time-released nutrient soil. I've also added perlite to the soil as well as my gaia green amendments.
Shoutout to Wildwood Seeds and to Mephisto Genetics. Fingers crossed that my plant turns out half as nice as some of the double grapes that I have seen on here.
Happy Growing!
Started LST and regular watering. She is looking nice and healthy. I am starting to get a little bit of smell in the room but nothing too crazy. I am guessing that I'll be moving this one outside in a couple of weeks.
-Same as the DG X SN Diary. Check that for more details about this and last week. These plants are really hearty and easy to grow. They are all looking really healthy minus a little bug damage.
- Some more low-stress training to keep the canopy even. No visible deficiencies. She is looking happy and healthy. I will probably do my one and only top dressing for this round of plants in the coming week. This one is getting some nice bud sites and is also already developing some nice trichomes.
Easy peasy. Gave her a helping of Gaia Green Bloom nutrients and from now on, all she will get is pH water until harvest.
She is looking super frosty and the smell is incredible. I don't think that she will be a big yielder but I know that the bud will be quality smoke.
Just water and sunlight now. I am guessing another two or three weeks until she is done. Just going to keep giving her the usual treatment. She is looking frosty and the smell is just wonderful.
More disaster. We had the hottest, most humid summer that I have ever experienced. After what happened to my last outdoor crop, I knew that it would be a matter of time. More bud rot. I had to chop down all three of these plants. I lost some but not too much. Maybe a few grams dried. I ended up mixing all three of these strains together in the end. The smoke is great. The buds are dense and full of resin. It smells, smokes and feels great. I only wish that I could have let them finish. This will be my last outdoor crop. When I come back with new diaries, they will be in my new indoor setup where I can take control and avoid situations like this. The strains are great and I will certainly be growing them all again. Thanks again to wildwood seeds.
