First little grow

Going well this week. Both plants growing strongly. One slightly bigger. This is the plant with the slightly broader leaves. Gave both plants a bit of a trim. I removed any fan leaves which were starting to yellow. I also removed any shoots trying to grow bud, which were well below the canopy. The leaves which showed a striping are still patchy, leaving me to believe it was some type of light burn, as I read that the plants do not recover from this type of damage. The bud sites are starting to fill out. Can see tricomes forming when I look with a jewelers loop. Simple feeding and watering scheme seems to be working well. Only question I have is should I do some more defoliation. The plants are very leafy, and some of the buds are being a little shaded.
