Day 3 from seed, she came in as a last minute replacement. I have 4 strains going in a 3’x3’ tent which is going to be tight!
Another week and into a 3 gallon she goes. Everything looks A1.
Needed some support her leaves are heavier than the main stem can support. She was popped a week behind the others but keeping up nicely.
Transplanted into a 3 gallon with all nutrients mentioned above.
Cheers!
Just about to LST if anything like the Green Crack grown before they do well with LST and should stretch later on.
Shall see the difference in a 2-3 days from the training.
Through out the week she received a foliar spray of Epsom Salt to prevent any Mg issues the others had in the tent. She is the shortest and smallest of the bunch but her foliage is the most vibrant. Very healthy and strong stems forming.
Bud sites finally showing progression, lovely smell and continues to look extremely healthy only one that was not transplanted from 3 to 5 gallon. Next week will already be their next top dress.
Nice little stretch this week. I almost prefer a slight stretch in flower to provide enough spacing allowing flowers some space to fill out. This week should see them bulk up, also will be doing the last top dress of 2-8-4 and 1 tbsp per container of kelp meal 1-0-2.
Just like the story of the little train that never stopped .... chugging along. Center stem is rock solid, let see if she will give us a good size cola.
Cheers!
I just love the smell of these, Mango Tangerine like. These will be absolutely dense and gorgeous buds hands down! For approximately 2 gallons of medium the potential is huge for this strain.
The mineralized phosphate seemed to be to much in addition to the standard 2-8-4 Feed but at least I know they have had plenty. I can’t wait to trim these as it’ll be easy and enjoyable
Stay safe growmies!
This one absolutely caught me off guard, 7-9 weeks finisher never thought she was going to be ready in 7. Regardless i’m pushing her a few more days to give another 3 watering before the ✂️. Buds are so dense two stems snapped over. Weight will be more than expected for this 2.5 gallons of coco.
I got itchy to start processing this run and getting on to harvesting. This one will be as easy as you can get trimming should take me no longer than 12hr. Every bud is rock and just gorgeous. Smell of mango, tangerine just wicked. Getting to this point was relatively easy now start the hard part of controlling the drying room to 70 deg F and 60% RH has worked extremely well. Following will be the usual sweating in tote.
Dry weight to come in about 7-10 days.
Cheers.
Some of the nicest buds I've grown in the last 3 years. Incredible vigor, HSO is top notch quality seedbank. If I was to describe the smell in two words would be mango playdough - absolutely a delight to smoke. Don't be restrained from growing this strain because of it's meager 6-7% THC or the thought that 12%, CBD would counter this effect (https://www.humboldtseeds.net/en/green-crack-cbd/). There is more to be said about terpenes and there effects. If you like rock hard, crystalized mango smelling buds than she is the one for you.
All in all extremely sturdy plant which grew in my case as a nice little Christmas tree. Buds were not overly large, she had about 2 gallon of coco coir to about 65W of lighting. This is a strain I would definitely grow again.
@BudXs, it’s cause you haven’t experience the power of CBD in company with THC. But I’ll admit this is not necessarily for recreational/party time more so to make actual medicine. It’s also perfect for when you need to be responsible during the day 🤣 you know exactly what I mean. Not so much a good idea to start your Saturday on the Phantom OG 🤣
Quick question man, transitioning from liquid nutes to powdered Gaia just after the transition, how long till the powdered nutes kick in? Great plants!
@ButtersStotch, I find it takes 2-3 watering for that stuff to start dissolving and seep through the first 1/3 of the medium (coco coir + perlite + EWC) but that will highly depend on the compaction of your medium. Very important to lightly scratch the surface which will aid with the process. Indoors I have some much top roots it’s a pain. How I remedy is by adding another inch of coco, EWC and my amendments 🤟
