Had the seedlings under 20/4 lights until week 8.
Now on 12/12 because of shared space with photo strains.
Was flowering beautifully. The leaves started yellowing and getting brown spots for about a week. Flushed and reset nutes. New growth greened up.
Stanky skunk odors permittee my house even with my exhaust steady on... Holding temps around 74 under lights and 68 at night. Humidity stays around 40-50%. Dehuey runs outside tent to keep exterior room at 69 F and 40%.
Then yesterday I opened up to a dank earthy smell. I freaked and started washing everything. Checked soil- no stank. Check run-off- stank-free. Checked foliage... strong grip to plant. Buds smelled great but the dank was had me thinking something was getting funky.
Today. No earthiness. Just bright clean skunk.
Hoping these two will be ready in the next week or so.
Both seeds sprouted fine but growth was slow and the plant did not get much over 12" along any branches including the main stem. Flowering came along and the plant was fine. Lots of sticky buds and sugar leaves. Kinda loose buds. After two weeks of curing it smokes fine. Nothing spectacular yet but not bad for what I expected from autos.
Bruce Banner auto flower was ready to harvest by end of week nine. The buds look and smell like reggies but their stickiness hints at a better than average smoke. THC seems to be on the medium side. Does not knock me on my ass but it does have me stuck contemplating if it is any good and how I should rate it in my journal and then my mind wanders to mulling over whether or not it's better to go with auto flowers or photo period strains in my next grow cycle and then five minutes later I realize I should probably take another hit and then I start to wonder what it will taste like in the vaporizer and I soon realize that... I have just met Dr. Banner and I got smashed by a little green monster.
Now it's July 2021 and the Bruce Banner is still around.
Despite copious BOVEDA packs and air-tight lids, no light at all, opening to refresh every so often... the terpenes seem to have gone away. Even when I crack a bud open and grind it, the aroma is still severely mute with lingering soft hints of hay...
The smoke is still a bit harsh and planty... like brickweed... but the buds are all still solid. The shit creeps like a motherfucker. 15 minutes to full orbit. 😇
