Looking very good. Don’t mind the blotchy leaves and all as i said its something this gal does. Probably tmv or something. The one up front seems to be affected more severely. But still they produce well. Next time i grow dinachem it’ll be from S1s of this beauty. She was a gift and her offspring will be too :)
From what i see at the moment i can say schwazzing (or the thing i did, gentle schwazzing) did produce positive effects. I can see the colas are thicker than usual. Not dramatically thicker but it’s still early. On the other hand i’m growing a pure sativa in another pot which could have used some more fattening up. Always vertical with that gal :) if it turns out to be a keeper definitely gonna schwazz it next run.
Branches are bending i should have staked the bigger colas, gonna do it soon. I’m just lazy. Fed them an hour ago with a balanced mixture. A little heavier on the micros and potassium.
Dinachem loves feeding. It it the best feeder i have. Hard to overfeed (but not impossible).
And one other thing i love about this plant, all solid nugs. Very little fluff. I don’t even lollipop this.
@chester, yeah man dwc and hydro in general is beyond me. Keeping the water cool is impossible for me and warm water almost guarantees a root infection. Seedlings mostly suffer from overwatering if you keep an eye on them and don’t overwater i think they should be fine. Well anyway i hope it’ll work out fine. What i like to do is to pop every seed and keep only the best one as a bonsai so i can grow it as i please, i don’t like ordering seeds.
@crimsonecho, I got a 3 pack so 2 left. I generally suck at keeping seedlings alive... I'll pop another one soon. I'm considering trying a DWC grow but that adds another layer of difficulty keeping a seedling alive in rockwool... Maybe I'll see if I can get it growing in soil and keep it for a mother then grow clones in DWC
@chester, ah that sucks is that a genetic shit? You got anymore beans? I only ordered one and it turned put to be pure fire. If you have more, pop them you’ll not be sorry and if you get a diary going i’d like to follow its journey. I do 4 plants in 4x4 but its your call of course.
@chester, wow i’ve been offline for a while but it’s going fine man i’m trying out some new strains durban poison and cannalope haze and one of my own crosses (destroyer x northern lights) they are barely in flower atm and the next gro will be all dinachem i think. how’s everything on your end?
@chester, yeah man me too. I actually grew 6 seeds before and they were all supreme. One was actually significantly better than my dina imo but no clones sadly. It was a very foxtailed pheno tho, somewhat fluffy but big buds. Oh man it’s gonna be fun but i got 2 more strains i have to do after this one.
@chester, yeah this week to week stuff is cool. I used to have problems uploading pics, thats why i got 4-5 diaries with nothing in them but i guess they finally solved that issue.
