It's hard to find high CBD low THC stains, this is sub 1% thc and over 20% cbd. This is my first grow, I don't know what i'm doing, bear with me. That being said I decided to jump right in by using coco, scrog, co2, heat exchanger, and quantum boards. What could go wrong?? Let's find out!

Moving up to 4 gallon pots, maintaining co2 and nutrient levels. Testing out my heat exchanger idea to see if it'll work.

I started hst a few weeks back by bending the plants, now i'm tying them down. Added a dehumidifier to help control humidity. Still figuring out nutruents, the plants are visibly stressed as their stems are purple. I'll later learn that less is more when I clone them.

More training this week. Noticed the plants looked like they had too much nitrogen. I probably could have used half strength and 60% as much water the whole time and would have been better off. Still alive!

Making progress, still need to get the nutrients right. The dehumidifier was heating the tent up too much, and I couldn't draw in cool air because of the co2. I implemented the heat exchanger, currently no need to run the chiller as the full reservoir is a good enough buffer at ambient temps.

The heat was too much, those blurple lights didn't cut it. I ended up building a few 320watt quantum boards to use. They're much cooler and have potentometers so you can adjust their intensity.

Quantum gravitational fluctuations in full effect. Using 2 lights, and a lux meter to dial them in. Not as good as a par meter but it'll give me a good ballpark to know im not totally frying my plants... which I did at first. Something to note is both lights run cooler than the Mars grow 900w I was using previously and are stronger, these lights rock!

Finally time to flower! I pulled the clones and one of the most healthy plants and moved them to the adjacent tent to veg. I set up a scrog net, filter, and connected the two tents with ducting. This way both can benefit from the co2 and dehumidifier.

You can start to see bud sites forming! I moved everything over to the veg tent except the 5 plants flowering. I've got plans for the next grow and need clones, the mother plant is happy to oblige.

I'm noticing changes each day, it's starting to smell great! The scrog net is working, I decided to tuck only and not tie off or lolly pop. Keeping it simple and not making any drastic changes.

Stretching to fill the tent nicely, I was worried about only using 5 plants but I'm happy with the results this far. Starting to see the trichomes on the leaves!

More growth, the entire canopy is pretty much filled. I moved the co2 tank into the flower tent to run when the filter fan is off. This is to allow more humidity for better co2 uptake. I am aware I could have ran a hose into the tent. I was quarantined at home and couldn't run to homedepot. The plants didn't stretch to that spot anyhow.

They're getting taller, I can't help but feel like they've still got a long way to go. Maybe i'm being impatient. I decided now was the time to start building my next grow. Going to give hydro/dwc a try, what could go wrong?

Flower still going strong, I want high CBN content so I think I've got 3 weeks or more to go. Cloner was super humid, to the point of rotting leaves. When I pulled them out they freaked out from the dry air and shriveled a bit. Hopefully the domes provide enough humidity for them to pull through.

I noticed grey mold starting on one of my clones, and realized the down side of sharing air between tents. I don't want to risk mod on the flowering plants so I've reduced watering to every other day to keep humidity down, and cleared the bottom of the plants of any dead leaves. My goal is to take it easy and just maintain for the last few weeks while the plants work their magic. Clones survived the humidity shock and the roots are growing! I plan on flipping these along with the 4 other potted plants with minimal training to see how their yeild is. My goal is to run 2 of the totes for quick turnover with low maintenance.

Any tips on ensuring my buds are dense? I'm wondering if I should lower my lights as the buds are pretty spaced out.

Buds. Not fattening

Hi, a lot of it is to do with genetics but try lowering your temps towards the end of flower. You can use PK boosters so the plant focuses on bud production, but you seem to be too far into flower for that now so I would be reducing the nutes at this stage. In a couple of weeks they should have fattened up nicely! :)

Eased up on nutrients, keeping humidity and temps low. Removed the co2 tank. I'm noticing the pistles are Browning, and buds are beginning to fatten. The smell is amazing, grape, citrus, and earthy. The buds are moist and sticky to the touch! Clones are doing good, going to flip these in a few weeks once the flower room is harvested. Just to see what sort of yeild we get.

This week was 100% flush, I think the buds are getting fatter. Looking at the trichomes, I think I could probably harvest now. My goal is to maximize CBD and CBN while reducing THC, ideally it'll be non psychoactive while giving the "warm blanket" feeling of CBD. I want to use it for migraines and body aches. The clones are fully aclamated and are responding quickly. I'm thinking 3 to 4 weeks veg is good then I can flip to flower.

What a long journey, growing has kept me level headed in quarantine. I think it came out ok, It's like catching your own fish, after the effort it just taste better. All of my harvest is going to people who need the medicine, in these strange times we all need to care for each other!

Hey, nice job on the grow! I know this is an old journal but I've been looking everywhere for these seeds so I figured I'd ask. Do you remember which seed bank these came from if it came from one at all? Thanks in advance.
