Hi All,
Sorry that I couldn't upload the previous pictures as I don't have them.
What I have done is to try to create a wide canopy similar to ScROG but with electric wires which I found very useful.
Please see the summary of what has been done 'till now:
Vegetation Period: 3-4 months, I lost the calculation.
Topping - When she has 6th node.
LST - Since she has been topped.
Defoliation - Monthly High Defoliation + Regular small defoliation of fan leaves blocking the light.
Soil - Regular soil bought on the internet. I always used Bat Guano when I change the Pot.
Heat - between 24-27 degree Celcius
Moist - 50-75 (I try to keep the humidity up through regular spraying the leaves)
Light - BestVa Elite 1200 (247W direct) Besides the first few weeks, I kept the both Veg and Flw Switch on to increase the amount of total light and cared less about the colour of the light)
Last week of Vegetation. I tried to have a wide canopy before flowering.
I realized that I mistakenly give bloom nutrients for nearly a month. I realized it when the top leaves turned bright green. For two weeks I gave TNT and the colour turned just normal and then I flushed and started flowering.
There is a small one on the container which is the clone of the main plant. I started to spray him starting this week to initiate male flowers. I am trying to get feminized seeds by this.
- The buds are growing vigorously.
- The buds started to fell down.
- The height of the colas varies between 25 to 32 currently. And there are 42 or more colas.
Seed-Formations: It seems the seeds started to be seen easily. There was a clone which I sprayed since flowering.
But the male plant didn't get enough light due to the female being so big and the flowers were so weak. Just to be on the safe side I streched the plant and continued to keep it under female plant on the ground. I then realized that some of the female flowers started to grow seeds. It was not wide contamination it just seeds were scattered one or two to some closer colas.
I stopped LST after fourth week into flowering. The buds are ripening.
- I started to give more nutrient than recommended by Hesi, and the plant seems to react very positively to it.
- I will continue to increase the nutrient levels gradually.
- The watering schedule decreased to one day for the last 15 days (4 litres every day). It is an 18th litres container but not a good time to transfer the plant.
- I will continue to give water to the plant once a day or day and a half.
- *I saw seed-like developments in the buds, I tagged them and will closely monitor their development.
- It might be caused by the male plant in the same room. It did not develop very well, however, there might be mature pollen among them causing this.
- Currently, the seed formation doesn't seem to affect the buds or the quality of the buds.
Defoliation: Twice hard defoliation (At the beginning and at the mid of flowering), continuously soft-defoliation by picking up the leaves.
Flush: The plant has been flushed this week.
Black-Strap Molasses: I started to give one teaspoon of black-strap molasses during every watering. Top leaves started to turn purple.
Tying the Colas: Colas became heavy for the branches, I needed to support some of them.
Seeds: Continue to grow.
FINAL LOOK of the plants before harvest.
Black-Strap Molasses: Top leaves and colas turned really brown.
Support Sticks: The colas became heavy and I hook them to four support sticks.
Energetic High - I wanted an energetic-high effect and harvested the plant early.
This was totally day-time stuff to continue function properly. It has a sweet aroma thanks to black-strap molasses.
It can take up to 13 weeks until %20 amber trichomes. This way you get more heavy effects.
Resistant to Heat and other stresses,
Grow Big Colas - never upset you in any condition.
Durable for nookie mistakes.
I find it very easy to grow similar to the name(As a guerilla weapon). It is resistant to heat (I experienced in previous grows. They stand still under 400 HPS under 32 degrees Celcius while others died and withered.), any nookie mistakes or bugs.
Experiment: During the defoliation, I started to pluck extra branches growing out of second branches on one side (One main cola and the ones growing on it). And left the other side to grow as many branches as it can by giving one node space after each branch. The thickness of both stems were similar at the bottom but the total weight was nearly twice at the size with multiple branches.
omg beautifull grow thanks so much for the info. i was scared i would lose yield, i pull around 125grams/plant without defoliation, lower buds were never strong or dense thats why i try it now i hope to get 1gram/watt one day
@Lazuli, I am on the favor of defoliation as I really saw the benefits. If you grow indoors, it also helps you to decrease higher humidity level during flowering (which helps to prevent mold)
Cheers,
@KentuckyOG60,Thank you dear, I also believe this is a really good strain. I am pollinating it with others and I will see the results soon.
Happy growing!
