GroweRoss Excited to be able to include a few variables in my first venture into parenthood. This week has been fine tuning the equipment and checking every couple of hours, in part to keep an eye, in part to keep a regular temp/humidity diary and in part to give me some focus during the coronas. Keeping me sane in more ways than one.

GroweRoss There is something wrong with plant 1, it has different soil make up to the others, but still there should be no reason for the issue which I’m not sure what it is.

I have an issue with a girl. Newbie alert. I feel it’s either calcium def or nut lockout. I fed with 1/2 rec BAC grow feed and it didn’t get better, so 2 days after I gave a flush of fresh water. Now it’s really trying to grow, it’s kicking out new leaves but it’s stunted

Yes. Once you water again after it has dried out she will start eating again but be mindful of nutrient strength as she will not need much to start. Not sure if BAC is chemical or organic. If organic it shouldn’t mater but if chemical, start with 1/4 strength max and ramp back up to previous strength as you see her recover. Also increase you light intensity as she gets better and ensure proper ph levels of 6.2-6.5 or tap water is fine too but tends to be around 7.0. Your good to water again when pot feels light and you can stick a finger 1” deep in soil and it doesn’t feel cool and no dark dirt stuck on finger. Do everything you can to speed up dry time before it’s too late. Overwatering is one of the worst things for plant health. Hope you can save it! Good luck and message me anytime for help.

GroweRoss For plant 3 things are looking a little too stretchy. Could work out in the end, but interesting to compare with plant 2 which is in same soil but the smallest aside from the deficient No.1 All other GC @ wk3 look like plants 5 & 4 (both in 100% new compost)
