So my fucking cat ran into my room, jumped into my pot, and proceeded to chew on my baby....it lost its whole right leave, and some of the left.... it looks pretty bad. Do you think it will survive? I feel like its probably in a lot of shock right now.
Hey man, that sounds very very funny but also very very bad :D As far as I understood correctly, the cotyledons are still on there, your cat just ate the 2 first true leaves? As long as there are still some sort of leaves on there, its gonna recover sooner or later. If you can afford the risk and electicity bill, just let it go and see if it grows back or dies. (Picture would be great here btw). If it looks really bad it might save time to just pop a new seed and then make sure your cat stays out of your room :D

Started adding more nutrients. I'm utilizing less because I'm working with a soil medium vs. hydro and I don't want to make the mistake by using too much.
My cat severely stunted this plants growth. At three weeks it is only 2 inches....my other plant is three times bigger. I'm surprised that she has come this far and survived, to be honest. Very thankful, and I hope she bounces back soon and eventually turns into a real beauty.
edit: started a small dose of No Mercy CO2 tab today 08/05/2020... .03g per gallon. Hopefully this will stimulate more growth over time :)
Saw the plant basically double in size since last week. I'm adding some Silica, Humic/Fulvic acid, along with the B-52 suppliment starting this week. I totally forgot I had this stuff laying around. Let's hope I didn't over do it!
Update: Bought some new nutes I'm going to add next watering! Clean Kelp and worm tea concentrate. I noticed my nute profile lacked micronutrients like molybdenum. I want to avoid seeing any deficiencies in the future!
Is it possible to stress induce two autflowering plants into hermaphroditism, then pollinate them both to produce all female autoflowering seeds?.... or will it produce only hermaphrodite seeds, or a combination of both? How does one stress induce an autoflower into doing this?
i would not suggest trying to stress your plant for seeds, the seeds will hermie out, i have a few diaries i have made seeds in, but i am using photo strains, i tried autos but because they are plants that are made to be automatic, they are very hard to do, you will have to grab or make some spray and you will have to spray one plant before it shows signs of sex, like right around the 3rd week in veg right before flowering starts, you can make the col. silver yourself or you can make the silver thisolate spray yourself, i have made both before and both do work, i can send you the recipes if you want or you can find the col. silver on ebay and sometimes the other. you can stress out a photo to make seeds yes but you have the extra time to do that where autos are on a time line to veg for x amount and flower for x amount until the plant is ready to be done with her life. i have mad seeds using males as well as i made female seeds using the spray, so if you have any other questions just ask
This is how they used to produce "feminized" seeds. It produces all female seeds that are more likely to be hermaphrodites than normal seeds. Still better than non-feminized seeds though.
Nowadays, they use colloidal silver to induce self pollinating without the added hermaphrodism problems. This can be done at home, look into it.
Have seen a lot of growth within the past couple weeks so I'm happy. She's growing at a slower rate than the other auto, but it's an indica so she probably won't get that big anyway.
I haven't been good about keeping up with my diaries for the past month almost. A lot has happened since. I noticed a bit of burning at one point so
I laid off of the Micro, Grow, Bloom a bit. I haven't had issues since. I also backed off of the CO2 pills. I think I should start flushing here pretty soon.
This plant didn't yield much, but I think it's mostly because it's an auto and I'm growing in my closet. I was really surprised how resilient it was after my cat almost demolished it in it's earlier veg stage. Very happy with this plant and can't wait to smoke. I got kinda lazy and didn't trim it very well...oh well lol
