It's been a bad outdoor grow season on the gulf coast. Extreme heat and constant high humidity can prove great for vegetative growth or clippings but flowers can be tricky in those conditions so I went a little heavy on the defoliation. Hopefully it works out in the end with no bud rot

I was just curious about how y'all feel about the color of my leaves in beginning of week 3? I took a soil sample at about 2 months and found high nitrogen and phosphorus levels with good potash. Never noticed any nute burn the entire grow. Was running 420 dakine veg/bloom

Everything looks fine to me. If you live in a high heat area, I would dig a hole in the ground and place the planter into on any days that could heat those planters up, to keep those roots cooler. Cheers friend

Steady calyx development and new white pistols still growing. It's gonna be an 8 or 9 week flowering period most likely.fruity lemony and diesel aroma. It's been too damn hot lately with temps reaching as high as 115 in direct sunlight and humidity stays in the high area with just about every temp and sometimes way too high for plant growth. You never want a situation where your plants stomata are closed more then open and actually absorbing co2. That being said lowering your temps dramatically by bringing the plant into an airconditioned environment and stressing the plant your gonna do one of two things stunt its growth or see increase in trichome production and possibly depending on strain bring out it's dormant colors. My new routine is to inspect every bud site for worms in the morning ...it's tedious and time consuming but better than losing a bud or entire branch.

So just a general question I guess. Anybody ever had just the lower calyxes on your flowers swell and form more trichome where as the top half of the bud that receives the most light doesn't? I think it has a lot to due with sub tropical heat and humidity

I think maybe I worded the question wrong but more referring to very top quarter of all buds in general. I never have this issue indoors but outside in lower Alabama I always have pistols exposed to direct sun get burnt tips and less trichome production and calyx swelling. Been trying to keep an eye on leaf surface temp but im a busy man.

Had an aashole family member pick a couple buds off my plant and like a fucking moron microwaved the mother duckers to try to dry them faster......people ..I hate people. Anyway top cola looking right with minimal.ambers and all cloudy so it and a couple of other mature buds are getting the snip tonight, while letting lower buds mature.

Besides fighting spider mites, thrips, aphids, stink bugs, silk worms, left hoppers. This turned out to be an awesome grow. I would recommend this strain for the south east.
