ArtMystic I just finished my first grow, about half a month ago, and I gotta say, during all that time when I wasn't growing, I felt a bit lost because I got really into this, I love it! For all 15 days, I was thinking about which strain to order and settled on Gorilla Glue and LSD 25, and I got some freebies: Kamel Kush and Auto AK and Afghan Kush. The seeds sprouted super fast, the first sprouts appeared in about 5-7 hours, and within a day I already put them in mini pots, but the Gorilla hasn't sprouted yet, while the other seeds show a strong desire to live! All the plants except for the Afghan are autoflowers, and the Afghan is a photoperiod. Now the question is, will the plants get too stressed if I switch them to flowering in 4 weeks? Initially, I plan to set the light schedule to Veg 20-4 for the first week, then I'll give them 18-6 until flowering starts. For flowering, I planned to switch all the flowers to a 14-10 schedule. I’ll see if the Afghan Kush will flower under that light schedule; if it doesn’t work out, I’ll switch to a 12-12 schedule for about 10 days, then I’ll do 14-10 if it flowers. Of course, I understand that this schedule won’t benefit my autos, but my soul demanded to plant one more photoperiod along with the autos. I don’t look for easy ways and love to use my imagination to solve problems. I hope I can achieve better results than in my first grow since the seeds from the first grow were just from the buds I smoked, and I decided to throw them in for fun. They sprouted, and I decided to take care of them and set up a drying rack with all the basic elements for growing flowers. Now I have organic fertilizers from BioBizz at my disposal, and I’ll be doing pure organic without mineral fertilizers. The soil will be 30% coco, 10% perlite, 10% vermiculite, and 50% peat. I also bought a charcoal filter. The second grow is officially open! It’s been exactly a week, and the little ones are showing good growth, but the LSD 25 has drooped its leaves. I don’t even know what that’s about; maybe overwatering or light burn.

I wanted to ask a question about switching plants to flowering. If I set the light schedule to 14 on 10, will Afghan Kush be able to bloom under that light schedule? Please let me know what’s the best way to proceed. If I keep the plant in veg for 3 months, it just won’t fit in my drying space...

ArtMystic This week has been really stressful, I overwatered the plants twice, was away for 3 days and decided to give them a good watering, yesterday I transplanted them and let me tell you, I stressed out more than my little plants 😄 I got really big pots for my box and they barely fit under my drying rack, I got a lot of stress thinking about how to arrange them and at what angle to place the lamp for more effective use, I did everything in a fit of grower passion) it turned out pretty well for a start, but I think I need to raise the pots and place them closer to the lamp, but judging by their appearance, the plants aren’t stretching, which means they have enough light (but that’s not certain) 😄 Today I watered them with BioBizz three-pack nutrients, the plants are feeling comfortable in their new pots, I transplanted them very late and the roots in the small pots had nowhere to grow, possibly because of that, purple spots appeared on the leaves, but that's also + overwatering and possibly light burn. I hope the grow will be successful and my plants don’t break the ceiling of the box with their tops) since it’s not very tall, no more than 1m high + I need to figure out where to place the lamps, I think I’ll bend them using the LST method, and I’ll be training my Afghan Kush photo plant, since the distance between the plants is minimal and I’ll need to fight for every centimeter of space that light will pass through) I’ll leave them in veg for another 2 weeks, then I’ll switch to a 12-12 light schedule since the photo plant is growing alongside the autos and I need to control its upward growth. I hope I make the right decisions in this grow, and for the next grow, I’ll be thinking about how to buy myself a good grow box)

I want to switch the autoflowers to a 12-12 light schedule in 2 weeks, as I have a photoperiod Afghan Kush in the box with them. Can you tell me if this will help control the upward growth of the autoflowers, since the space in the box is very limited? Right now, the light schedule is 19-5.

ArtMystic The 4th week of growth is over, 28 days in. I water the plant roughly like this: first, I give bio bloom and bio grow at 700 ppm, watering all the plants with a 1.2 L watering can, evenly distributing the liquid among the pots. Then I pour in top max; the first time I added 1 ml, and the last time I added almost 5 ml, and I continue to water with top max. After that, I water with 1.2 L of clean water at pH 6.2. After this procedure, I wait for the soil to dry out and for the next 2 waterings, I use clean water so the plant can properly absorb the nutrients and drink clean water to get hungry for nutrients. Then I let the soil dry for 2-3 days and repeat the procedure: 1) watering with nutrients, the next day 2) watering with water, 3) watering with water, 4) drying the soil. After watering with nutrients, I also do some training on the plant, bending the leaves to adjust them to the light using LST. I performed micro-defoliation on the lower leaves that weren't getting any light and were lying on the ground. I cracked the stems and branches of the plants, and I also did FIM - pruning and main-lining on the photoperiod Afghan Kush to control the plant's growth, as I decided to change the light schedule from 16-8 to 20-4 to speed up energy accumulation for the autoflowering strains. I will keep the photoperiod plant in veg longer and will bend or trim it to control its growth. In 3 weeks, I plan to switch the light schedule to 12-12 since the photoperiod will need to go into flowering, while the autoflowers will continue to ripen for another 3-4 weeks in that mode. Everything follows natural laws and logic; at the beginning of growth, the plant needs light, but it can't absorb it in the quantity that the lamp provides. I heard somewhere that the root system grows at night, so the plant initially needs more sleep. After the leaves have formed, these solar panels can turn towards the light and can absorb more energy than with smaller leaves. I give light 20-4 to speed up the development pace and provide a good charge of nutrients at the beginning of flowering. Then, according to the plan, I will wait to see how the plants react to the training and won't touch them for a long time unless necessary, as they might have experienced stress. I also saw pests on the bushes, like spider mites, so I had to use organic means like onion, garlic, and chamomile to deal with them. In summary - The logic is that in May, the plant starts to grow in its natural environment; it receives light that is still not long enough and more intense. We set the light to 16-8, then after a month, we switch to 20-4 since the plant has already strengthened and its metabolism has increased. Next, I plan to switch it to 12-12 light to make the photoperiod flower and the autoflowers start to understand that they need to ripen. The light has decreased, so that's how I'm going to try to grow. 😉

ArtMystic Friends, sunny greetings from cold Russia! =) I want to express my immense gratitude to the people who comment and support me in the growing process! To be honest, it was a big surprise for me that my work would attract interest from people, especially from other countries. 😊 Now I know for sure that I have someone to strive for in creating quality content, even if it's illegal in our country. The laws in our country are very harsh, (This is not a country, but a damn Mordor, dirty orcs don't need a warrant to take you) you can get a longer sentence for a bag of weed than for murder, so my beautiful girlfriend and I are considering emigrating to other countries, so we won't have strong paranoia about growing the divine plant sent to us by progressive gods for the evolution of human consciousness. I love my homeland, the rivers, mountains, fields, trees, and nature, but I just can't get used to the current laws and living conditions, so I want to visit other countries and see other people with different mindsets and lifestyles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx37AD-RYTg MARKUL — SERPANTINE The growing process at week 5 seemed very interesting to me, it brought me a lot of experience that I didn't have before, namely Main-Lining, Topping the autoflower (accidentally broke the top), bending and shaping future buds, I had no experience with LST before and I want to say that for my box it's just an indispensable thing)) The whole growing process is going according to plan, except for overwatering or nutrient overdose, which is clearly expressed on the leaves of my beloved gorilla)) I overwatered her)) small yellow spots appeared on the tips of the leaves. I also accidentally broke the top of the AK-47, I'll try to make a clone from it!)) I recently had a mild case of coronavirus (had a fever for 1 day), lost my sense of taste and smell, was without smell for about a week)) and today! oh miracle!)) I started to smell the sweet and warm scent of marijuana from my box =) My sense of smell is returning)) marijuana helped me with this!) And if I take a hit from the buds, maybe another sense will open up 😄

ArtMystic Today marks 3 years with my girlfriend, so I decided to do some defoliation and give her a bouquet =) I performed defoliation today on the 36th day of growth, and it went successfully. I didn't want to do it because they say it's not recommended for autos, but I think in my conditions it should be fine, especially since my fan recently broke down and the air circulation is critically lacking, plus we have an invasion of locusts)) or rather aphids or spider mites. I used Zhukocid with green soap and Dalmatian chamomile, no chemicals. Today I saw beetles again at the bottom and got paranoid because I couldn't even see the plant's stem, and the leaves I previously just bent down were very close to the ground. So I decided to defoliate; I did it quite harshly, it's practically a Schwizing. I hope my little girls survive this training and give a good yield; they look decent for now, but there are signs of slight overwatering or nutrient overdose on the leaves. I think it's not critical; I'm currently watering the plants with pure water at pH 6.2, PPM - 120. I'll update this week when exactly 6 weeks pass) Wishing everyone successful cultivation of this divinely beautiful plant) It's very nice to see feedback from you!) I really wanted to keep my diary since I'm into psychology and yoga, but I couldn't start and couldn't realize what I could write about. I sent a request to the Universe, and it answered me by leading me to this wonderful site! We don't have anything like this in Russia, and we won't for at least 10 years)) It's very nice to keep a diary; everything is so convenient and simple, and most importantly, there are so many interesting personalities here, kind, beautiful, and responsive people, open to communication. Even the coolest growers don't act superior; they're ready to help you with all your questions. There are even official accounts of Seed Banks here; I'm just thrilled with this service. Thanks again to the developers of the service and the Seed Banks for their cool contests and constant feedback, and to those wonderful people who, like me, share their diaries and are ready to share useful experiences! =) Let's green the Planet Together!! =) Dear friends, today marks exactly 6 weeks or 42 days for my plants, and they are gaining Bud Mass)), all strains are growing absolutely differently; apparently, the plant's genetics predetermines a lot. It's very interesting to observe my girls)) I smoked the leaves I removed during defoliation, and it turned out to be a powerful mix; the effect was very unexpected for me after a week-long break from smoking. I blasted 2-4 gravity bongs, which in Russian is - WATER) I also call it Vladimir Vladimirovich (Putin) because I consider this method of consumption the strongest)) From 3 water bongs, I got so high that I initially enjoyed the sativa rush)) I thought, Wow Wow)) I was taken away by the weed that's just a little over a month old)) 20 minutes passed, and I wasn't feeling too great))) as indica caught up with me, and my consciousness crumbled into gravel. At that moment, I was playing the video game League of Legends; I started losing track of my mouse, then confused my character with other players, and then zoned out for about 10 seconds. I returned my attention to the monitor, and I was already in the middle of a battle; it seemed like I wasn't bothering anyone, but I got kicked by 5 people from the opposing team)) I was playing randomly)) somehow we won)) and I was in first place for damage dealt))) even though I couldn't focus on the game process)) Since the gaming process didn't bring me joy, I went to lie down on the bed to center myself and regain control of my attention)) I did a meditation that almost melted my brain with its intensity) after that, I fell asleep)) for 15 minutes and woke up full of energy, and of course, I went to hit it again because I couldn't believe how high I got) After the second round, I went to the box and zoned out in it for about 2 hours)) at that moment, I mentally thanked my girls for the high they gave me =) Another funny thing)) This week, my relatives, my uncle and grandfather, visited me. They don't know about my hobby, but I've gotten my uncle high about 5 times, and he knows what weed smells like and how it hits)) They came over without warning, which scared me a lot))) When they entered my home, I suddenly ran to the room where the flowers grow, unplugged everything from the sockets, and tossed them inside the box, pulled the cover tighter. By the way, for some miraculous reason, that day I decided to connect the carbon filter since the smell was already quite strong, and two hours later, my relatives arrived. During that time, the filter did its job perfectly; there was absolutely no smell, not even a hint of it)) which made me very happy when my grandfather and uncle entered the grow room) they looked out the window at all the junk I placed to distract attention =) The Invisible Box passed field tests on real people))) I was very pleased because I didn't have to explain to my relatives why I was doing this))) I enjoy this activity, watching how a beautiful tree grows from a seed)) which helps me cope with my lower back pain since I dropped a 70 kg barbell on my back as a child.. I avoid chemical pills and all that stuff, so I don't use them for pain relief or other ailments; I try to stay closer to nature)) I had COVID-19 without taking a single pill; on the first day of infection, my bones hurt a lot, and my lower back ached in the spot where the barbell fell. On the second day, I had a temperature of 37.6, and on the third day, I felt weak without a fever. By the fourth or fifth day, I returned to normal)) During those days, I smoked 5 grams of buds with my girlfriend, which I got from a friend)) I treated myself with buds for COVID)

ArtMystic On day 46, I did defoliation (Shwazing) on the Afghan Kush, as this fluffy one is growing well and its branches are big like a Russian bear. I nicknamed the bush "CHEWBACCA" because of its size and fluffy leaves. After Shwazing, I treated the bush with Amber Acid to reduce stress from this extreme training. So far, it feels good. In the box, I keep the light on 20-4 for the AUTO bushes, and I put Chewbacca in a cardboard box every day to maintain its light schedule of 12-12. After the night, I put it back in the box as long as I can, since the box still allows me to fit it in, but I think it won't be for long, as CHEWBACCA has actively started growing after the light schedule change. So far, no other news; everything is going smoothly! By the end of week 7, I'll make a photo report on all the bushes! Hello to everyone reading me and watching my report from Russia! The 7th week has ended, and to be honest, my motivation is a bit shaken. For some reason, it seems to me that they are growing slowly. I hope everything will be fine.

ArtMystic Here we are, the eighth week of growing autoflowers alongside a photoperiod strain has passed, everything is going well, but of course, it could be even better) It's not an easy process growing in a limited space; I constantly have to move the plants toward the light as they grow and come up with new methods for tying them up, as well as defoliating leaves so that light reaches all the plants. While chatting with Russian growers, I received a lot of criticism regarding my growing; they say my light is like disco lights and nothing will grow under it. I also got criticized for the growth rate of my plants, as Russian growers in the chats have abundant flowering by day 36 from the plant's birth, while mine are only on day 56. This is very strange, and of course, I question everything since the vegetative stage lasts 4-5 weeks, during which buds shouldn't appear at all, and the green mass of leaves should be growing. I'm very pleased that those growers who give advice in our chats don't even suspect your wonderful site exists, as they give a lot of advice while blatantly misleading you, sometimes not even understanding what they're talking about. By the way, it's already been two weeks since I switched the plants to a 12-12 light cycle. During this time, I've been adding 15 minutes of light to my timer every 2-3 days, so to speak, to make the Afghan Kush photoperiod strain bloom under 13 hours of light and 11 hours of darkness. Today, I adjusted the timer to 13 hours of light - 11 hours of darkness; it will be interesting to see if my photoperiod strain will flower under this lighting. So far, everything is going well, and it continues to bloom under this lighting) I hope my method will be successful, and I can gain an extra hour of lighting for the autoflowering strains =) I want to say that I practice a bit of occultism for growing plants; specifically, I talk to my plants about positive topics)) I encourage them during every training session when I have to hurt these living organisms with defoliation and super cropping. Every time I cut the plants, I feel like I'm being violent towards them) So, after training, I feed them well with nutrients, play their favorite rhythms on the jaw harp, and put on relaxing music =) I consider them living organisms; they are my green pets) I placed a pyramid inside the greenhouse and charged it with positive vibrations to enhance growth; it's called TERAFIM - I programmed it with my psychic energy to help with plant growth)) Please don't consider me a madman, as there are many laboratory experiments showing astonishing results with improved growth trends; this is already a documented fact that no one can explain yet. I'll attach a few excerpts from a book on this research with graphs for the Russian readers) Perhaps those Russian readers will start to treat their plants as living beings and remove the mental limitations regarding training and light schedules, as I believe you need to feel your plant, know when and what to water, when to train, when to defoliate, and when not to; you need to feel your plants, not apply pre-prepared templates that they fear deviating from. Love your plants, show them more love and attention, don't expect super results from them, just feel them and enjoy the growing process; may the force be with you, my friends! =)

@CenturionGrower, Thank you so much for commenting on my post, it’s really nice to read and I get excited with every new notification😊 I've been growing marijuana since I was 15 in a country where you can get sentenced to 5-15 years in prison for it))) This is going to be a very exciting Grow, I will put all my strength and resources into it, and I will also conduct a few original training sessions and light schedules!)) I’m curious to see what will come out of it, I went all-in and invested all my resources into building the box and equipment)) At the moment, I’m experiencing financial difficulties since I live in Russia 😄 I made the choice that my plants will be fed better than I will for these 2-3 months, so I spent my last money on Bio Bizz nutrients)) I will put maximum creativity and artistry into this diary so that people from other countries can see me and maybe offer me a job in the cannabis growing field or another industry that benefits society.😉
