Start of Week: Day 1 Hello fellow grower! This is going to be my second grow. I bought a few different seeds when I was going to start my first grow, so I am going to put six seeds in coco coir: two OG Kush from Seedsman, two Blueberry from ILGM, one Northern Lights also from ILGM, and one Lemon from Seedsman. All seeds are auto flowering. My plan is to germinate in water and place the seeds directly into their final pots. And since this is only my second grow I want to do some more experimenting. I’m going to be using four 1-gallon pots (one for each strain) and two 3-gallon pots (one for an OG Kush plant and one for a Blueberry) and I am planning on keeping them in these pots till harvest. I will be doing some training in this grow; mostly bending and tucking. But I’ve also seen some good results from topping autos, so depending on the growth rate I’m going to top some if not all the plants. Happy growing! [07/21: With the exception of one Blueberry seed and the Northern Lights seed, none of the seeds have germinated. I gently applied pressure to try and get them going by opening them slightly, then I potted them. I’m going to keep watering for about a week or two and see if anything happens. I want to point out that I didn’t properly store my seeds after I got them. I just left them on my desk, so I don’t think this shows an accurate representation of germination rates for the seeds. Hopefully they get going.] 07/18: Placed two Blueberry Auto seeds in lukewarm tap water. 07/20: It has been 60 hours since I placed the seeds in water and one has opened, so I placed the seed in a 3-gallon pot of coco drenched with plain water at 6.11pH. I left the other seed in water, but will probably move it soon. 07/21: No change on the seed in the water. I don’t want to keep it in the water for too long, so I placed it in a 1-gallon coco pot. Hopefully it sprouts. No change from the 3-gallon. 07/24: The seed in the 3-gallon has become a sprout. I’m calling today Day 1.

Week 2 - Day 8 07/31: The seedling is growing a little slanted. I moved the light up to 18” and switched on the blue light for vegetative growth. She is still covered with the water bottle. Since she has a week out I am going to start giving small dosages of nutrients on the next watering and work our way up to 1200μS for the next watering. I’m also going to alternate between feeding nutrients and plain water since roots are still developing. 08/02: Gave the first watering with nutrients today. I decided to give a full flush to help clean the coco a bit. She has a little yellowing on her first true leaves, but hopefully the feeding will fix it. She’s starting to straighten herself out. I now have both light switches on to give full spectrum lighting and I still have her covered with the bottle.

Week 3 - August 07,2020 - Day 15 07/08: Named this little one Bethany. She is looking good. There’s a bit of color coming out. I decided to start with nutrients. 07/09: Checked on Bethany and she is starting to look unhealthy. There are small bits of algae forming on the coco, so I’m thinking that it might be caused by root damage. I gave a full watering of Cal-Mag solution and I am planning on letting her get pretty dry before watering again.

Week 4 - August 14, 2020 - Day 22 08/15: Gave Bethany a watering and reintroduced nutrients. Hopefully she takes them now that she’s a bit older. She seems a little behind on size, but all of her new leaves are looking healthy. I continue struggling with the algae, so I covered the coco using white paper.

Week 5 - Day 30 08/22: Bethany is blooming healthy. Since she is in a 3-gallon pot, I believe she is still working on expanding her roots. Because of this, she is still growing slowly in size.

Week 8 09/17: Bethany is growing beautifully. She took really well to the topping and with some LST, I have managed to get her to form a pretty even canopy. Pistils have begun to appear, so she is now pre-flowering.

Week 9 Day 58 since breach of coco. 09/19: The first problem has come up. I’ve noticed small gray spots covering multiple leaves. Still not sure what is causing it. I’m planning on keeping a close eye on her until I resolve the issue. On a brighter note, pistils have appeared in multiple spots. She is going to start flowering soon.

Week 10 Day 7 of flowering. 09/28: Well we are fully into flowering. Bethany is currently on her stretch. It seems to be slowing down. The gray spots ended up being some kind of deficiency. The spots ended up rusting, but as of late no new leaves have any damage caused by a deficiency. A few of the lower leaves where little light reaches have turned yellow. I gave her first feeding with Kool Bloom. Looking at mid-November for harvest. I can’t wait! 09/30: A little yellowing on the new leaves. EC levels in runoff were way too high. I waited a little too long before the last watering, so I’m sure we had some salt build up. Now that she’s bigger I’m going to water her more frequently. I also noticed some lower growth that was definitely not going to make it due to lack of light, so I decided to try out some cloning. I took two cuttings and placed them in plain bottled water to try and form some roots. Since she’s an autoflower and is currently in bloom, I’m not expecting much. But we’ll see.

Week 12 Day 21 of flowering. 10/10: Third week of flowering. Gave the first watering of mid-bloom nutrients. Overall she is looking great. However, she’s gotten pretty tall. She has grown about 6” in the last week. She’s now about 2” under the light, so I’m planning on moving her into a new tent with a higher roof. This is the same problem I had on my first grow and I know this dropped my yield.

Week 15 Friday, October 23, 2020 Day 21 of Flowering 10/23: New bud growth has slowed down, and now buds are starting to fatten up. Comparing her to my amnesia haze from my last grow, I can tell that she is going to have a multiple thick colas thanks to the topping. Leaves are mostly green and healthy, but EC levels are way too high. The next feeding will be at half strength to see if this can balance the levels out.
