Hi guys/gals, this is my first attempt at growing photoperiod so it should be interesting trying to adjust from growing autoflowers. So there is a ton of information out there to make your head spin. Where do you start? I've been researching for time now and I believe I am ready for the challenge. I just want to take this opportunity and give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Grow Diaries and GHSC for a fantastic contest that I will inevitably lose lol great experience nonetheless so lets get popping. Germination -----‐-------------- - 24hr presoak distilled water ph 5.9 - soaked 4 jiffy pods warm distilled water ph 5.9 - removed netting and combined pods into 473ml starter pot while planting seed twice the length of the seed. - covered pot with saran wrap to keep moisture in and moved to dark cabinet. - 2 days seed popped and placed under fluorescent light for 16/8 schedule. Just plain ph'd 5.9 RO water nothing else at the moment until she gets a little bigger and uses up her own food. 16/8 light schedule. Keeping it simple!! Keep em popping 🇨🇦😉🌱🍀👊🙏

GHSC Bubba Slush ------------------------------- Week 3 ------------- Starting of week 3 and still just plain ph'd water 5.9 twice weekly. Almost ready for transplant as the cotyledon is still mostly green but I can see the yellowing begin. There was a fungus gnat so I didn't hesitate to use diatomaceous earth sprinkled on top of the medium as well as a container with dish soap to attract the adult gnats. I haven't seen any in 3 days so mission accomplished. In the next few days I'll transplant with Bio Grow premixed in 1 gallon air pot. See y'all next week thx for popping by. Keep em popping 🇨🇦😉🌱🍀👊🙏

Green House Seeds Company Bubba Slush Green House Feeding Coco 70% Perlite 30% 2 gallon air pot ------------------------------------------------- Week 5 ------------- So this is the beginning of week 5 and I just realized that I screwed up the measurement of Bio Grow. I just assumed 1 spoon equals 3 grams so I used 2 spoons but the colour is going more on the darker side of green. So yeah I checked again and it's definitely too much. I do organic dry ammendments with Gaia Green and I have a measuring spoon that is exact to my feeding schedule. Oh well lets hope I don't get nitrogen deficiency lol rookie mistake we'll see what happens. Other than that the plant looks healthy. Almost at 6th node and then I'm going to top down to the third node in preparation for the final pot where I'll try a manifold to produce 8 colas. We'll see how green she gets in the next week and hopefully I didn't kill her lol I used enhancer and I had the water ph'd to 5.0 prior to adding the enhancer like the directions stated. I checked again the ph and it was like 9.7? Seems very high to me but what do I know so I brought it down to 5.7 so we'll see. Until next week stay safe. GHSC Bubba Slush Spider Farmer SF4000 Coco 70% Perlite 30% 5 gallon fabric pot Green House Feeding --------------------------------------- Week 6 ------------- - Topped day 31 down to the 3rd node. - transplanted day 34 to the final 5 gallon fabric pot. - ph 5.8 ro water 1.5 litres ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- LED Light Schedule -------------------------------- - 18/6 - 30 in from canopy - 23000-25000 lux I over did it with the Bio Grow during the first transplant so I did not use any the second time in hopes to level out the fertilizer. The leaves are a little on the darker side but now that it's in a bigger and the final container I'm hoping it evens out. I have roughly 3 weeks before flip so I'm hoping to have training completed. GHSC Bubba Slush Spider Farmer SF4000 Coco 70% Perlite 30% 5 gallon fabric pot Green House Feeding Reverse Osmosis -------------------------------------- Week 7 ------------- Week 7, day 43 and this lady was topped twice at the 3rd nodes 3rd node. Nodes 1 and 2 all growth tips removed but adjacent leaves untouched. Total of 8 bud sites remaining. 2 main branches ( 3rd node ) super cropped to harden the base for better flower support. I'll do some LST as she grows and some defo later on if and when needed. The base of the manifold is complete. Just a few days to recover and then this lady should be growing full throttle. Ah well I wasn't winning anyways 😃 my guess is the contest failed miserably and GHSC didn't want the bad publicity considering how many failed harvests with their questionable new genetics according to the bad posts. I haven't flipped this baby yet but in a few days I'm going to do just that and hopefully for my first photoperiod run she will not grow balls. Fingers crossed!! I think I overfed a tad but I'm still learning the curve so it is what it is lol overall looking okay but not great but lets see if we can change that down the stretch. I overfed a tad as this is the first time using this product. The leaves are darker than I would like almost waxy too much nitrogen. I'm not sure how much this will effect flowering but it is what it is. Once it's in there it's hard to remove but I'm hoping for the best. I was planning to do a compost tea but I think I'll pass due to the excessive ammendments. This week and here on in I'll be giving just plain ph'd water that's it nothing complicated. The smell is mild but I'm sure it's going to get loud in a few weeks. Just plain ph'd water 4.8 going in and 6.5 coming out. I roughly water 3 times per week at 3L a shot. GHSC Bubba Slush Spider Farmer SF4000 Coco 70% Perlite 30% 5 gallon fabric pot Green House Feeding ------------------------------------- Week 19 --------------- High growmies 🤢 so this is the beginning of week 19 and there is really not much to report other than I reduced the lights to 10 hrs on 14 hrs off and I am watering with plain ph'd water 4.8 going in and 6.5 coming out. 5 weeks to go so lets see if she can pack on the weight which would be nice. So far no balls which is means I'm doing something right Haha!! The leaves don't look the healthiest but as long as there's some fat nugs then all is well IMO!! Final week flushing with reverse osmosis. So for my first photoperiod run no hermies 🙌👊🙏 I overfed this gal a tad but it's in my notes for next time. I also did not constantly check runoff ph which the ph was low for sometime which I'll stop being lazy and do it properly because it's worth it in the end. Other than a couple minor fixes the training went well and i couldn't be happier. That's all for the week stay lit and keep em popping!!
