Forasteroloco The substrate is Bio Bizz Allmix. Watering 300ml a week with chlorine-free water. One of the plants has a deformity, but I don't mind much because I think the lamp isn't enough for the 4, so in a week or two I'll be left with a couple of plants or just one. Since this is my first grow, I'm satisfied with how things are going.

Forasteroloco I’ve removed a deformed plant from the closet to make better use of the space. For now, I’m watering once a week, and this time, I’ve increased it to 0.5 liters. I’m still not adding any type of fertilizer.

Forasteroloco I’ve taken another plant out of the closet to the outdoors. I’ve kept the ones that are more similar to each other. I’m still watering with 0.5 liters of water a week, without fertilizing. I measured the leftover water after it passed through the pot, and it gave me a value of 800ppm. Some white hairs are starting to appear at the base of the branches. The humidity in the closet has started to rise (69%), so I’m going to increase the time of the air intake to see if I can lower it.

Forasteroloco This week the plants have made considerable growth. I've increased the watering to 0.5 liters twice a week. One of those times with Biobizz Bloom fertilizer (2ml/l). Today, the last day of the week, I found the tips of the leaves yellow and drooping down. The water value after watering is 450ppm.

Too much nitrogen. Flush your soil and start again, using less nutrients.

the curling downwards can be nitogen toxicity but it can also be caused by heat stress or overewatering. u need to fix that. when growing in soil the golden rule is 👉 "if not dry, don't apply" (water that is) the yellowing of leaves ... if it's only happening to older leaves I wouldn't worry about it too much. that's kinda normal and by looking at your other leaves u have plenty of nitrogen good luck my Iberian comrade!

Forasteroloco This week I haven't noticed anything remarkable. The leaves with yellow tips haven't gotten worse. I water every 3 days with just under 0.5l, and I haven't used any nutrients this week. The leftover water after watering is 400/430 ppm.

Forasteroloco It looks like the flowers on one of them are starting to take shape. I keep watering every 2 days, alternating between a watering with Biobizz and one without. From other diaries I've seen, I suppose that in 2 weeks one will be ready to harvest (I'm going to stop the nutrients in the watering), the other one I think is a bit slower and might take another week (I'll keep feeding for another week).

Hi, are you Catalan? Good luck with your grow. Hey, I grew the Fast Bud 2.0 from Sweet Seeds, a very good choice for a first grow. It wasn't that fast for me; I had 11 weeks in the flowering phase, but it was worth every day. Beautiful buds. I will follow your project. Cheers and hugs from Portugal!

Hello!! @DaSofaSurfer I'm Galician from Ferrol. I went for this seed because of its speed and size. But from what I'm seeing, they won't be that small either, I don't think I'll be able to finish the grow with more than one or two plants.
DaSofaSurfer
DaSofaSurfer commented6y ago
@Forasteroloco, I'm writing to you in Spanish but I think it's translating automatically to English very poorly. What language are you reading me in?? Well, I'll tell you that it's not as fast as its name suggests. At least with my lamp. But the buds deserve their time. You can see one today right here. https://youtu.be/o4XEKybpYUE It will still take about a week or maybe two. As for the size, use LST technique and double your plants to have an even canopy and to keep the plants from getting too tall. If not, what will happen is that the upper buds will be good, but with a 200w light, it won't have the penetration needed and the lower buds will be weak. I made that mistake in my first grow by letting it grow naturally. But yes, only 200w of LED for 4 autos probably won't be enough. You'll get beautiful plants and nice buds and take photos, but I think when you smoke them, you'll find that they don't have the quality/potency you expected. Except for those that are in the middle directly under your light. 4 plants maybe if they were photoperiod plants and yours would use the "green sea" technique, putting them into flower just 2 weeks after germination, so these will be small plants, then you can do 4 plants. Otherwise, 1 or 2 at most. But after a couple grow, you'll find this balance between the amount of energy you want to spend per gram of weed and the quality you're willing to end up with. It's part of the process. From time to time, I'll check your progress. If you sell in the south of Portugal, let me know so we can smoke a joint. Good luck with that, buddy.

@DaSofaSurfer, "thank you" for your comment. I'm reading you in Spanish with a few words in Portuguese mixed in. I think I'm going to take your advice and follow it. Possibly this weekend I'll take another plant out of the closet and put it in the sun. I'll hold off a bit longer in the closet with the two smaller plants and eventually end up with just one depending on the size they take up. I really liked the video😂, honestly, I didn't expect these plants to develop so much. They look really good. Best regards🙋‍♂️🏻

see the tips of the leaves? that's nutrient burn. I don't know if you are feeding with every watering. if you are, don't. just feed every other day OR feed weekdays and give them a break on weekends. or ease up on the nutes and just make weaker solution. sorry I only saw your comment from a month ago today. always go for quality instead of quantity. I'd say with just your light (200w) either 1 photo with 6 weeks of vegging time or 2 autos will be as much as u can produce and have acceptable quality. also next grow start implementing techniques such as LST because with a 200w led if you have considerable distance between top and bottom nugs the ones at the bottom will be a world apart from the top buds in quality and density as you'll probably see even in this grow. good luck

Thanks @DaSofaSurfer, the truth is that this grow is a test to see if home growing is financially feasible for me. I've recycled a clothing cabinet, some PC fans, and a kitchen extractor. I've only bought substrate, seeds, flowering nutrients, and a lamp from AliExpress. My intention was to invest as little as possible, and if it goes well, gradually improve the equipment. I think given the current market situation (covid), I'll do another grow with just one plant. I have a seed of "critical feminized" and another of "critical jackauto." In that future grow, I'll try to dare to train the plant.

@Forasteroloco, I caught a case 4 years ago. cops came , busted my front door open and took everything I owned related to indoor growing. as a result I also don't have a dehumidifier or ac and my fan does the job of extraction and ventilation (it shouldn't - not correct way of doing this) but for the most part I'm still pulling decent medicine. not top shelf because my situation is not ideal but still better than alot of the flower going around, beeing sold here. u can make it work with what u have. especially now that the weather is cooler but not cold yet. with time u may need to get a dehumidifier and an ac portable unit (or tiny space heater for winter) but you can still produce very decent quality weed especially if the weather cooperates. don't be sad if your first couple of grows u don't get the quality you aim for. I think most ppl won't. I didnt. Important thing is that you try and give it your best and either learn and correct what you did wrong or at least understand why youre falling short and have something to aim for. maintaining correct environmental parameters (temp and humidity) are of paramount importance. that and plenty of light. nutrients are not as important. maintaining those environmental parameters without electrical appliances is very difficult if not impossible. the flowers will still be beautiful but the medicine will be mediocre at best. instagram weed I call it. if u need a couple seeds for next run message me on the chat. I don't mind sending you a couple of premium beans, trendy fresh strains. auto or photo I got you bro. if your seeds are from reputable seed bank than soldier on but don't waste your time and electricity with random bulk seeds. if you have bulk seeds just holler at me, I rather send u something u can be sure is good genetics good luck man

those white hairs are pistils. your plant started flowering. very exciting time as she will start to stretch. next 3 weeks she's going to grow like crazy. you're looking good man.
Forasteroloco
Forasteroloco commented6y ago
@DaSofaSurfer, one of them is stretching a lot compared to the other. I think I'm going to have problems because I can't take any more outside. I think this time I'm going to sacrifice quality for production (if I can due to space). Next time I'll just put one plant. Cheers!
