Transplanted most of the babys into bags for the remainder of the winter.The temps are down to minus 6 again this week.The girls stay outside so hope for the best that all survive the chill.
Had a lot of crap with the girls this week.I transplanted them into compost from the garden and soil as i could not find potting soil. The ph turned out totally fucked 8.2 starting.Geus i shouldnt put all my barbeque ashes in the compost. he he Then i couldnt find PH meter or solution. had to resort to old school purple cabbage extract to balance the ph.Fuck it is actually quite accurate.I flushed the plants well with ph stabilized water as the tap water is also fucked.( LESSON LEARNED ).sO NOW ALL WATER GETS PH CORRECTED BEFORE COMING CLOSE TO THE PLANTS. Most have recovered and stopped yellowing.Hopefully i can pull most of them through.
How do i fix this.The ph was way to high but i corrected it.My question is do i have to add more nitrogen to the feeding or will the plants go green again by themselves.How long does it take on average for yellowing plants to recover.
Keep your nutes to normal intake. But remember increease nutrients % every feeding.
At the second week, increase nutrients just a bit. See how plants assimilated to the change then at 3rdweek increase nutrienst to max if the plant is doing good.

Thank goodness thanks to excellent advice from fellow growers i managed to pull all the girls through.The male plant ran amok in this batch which imm not to unhappy about as it enables me to harvest male pollin for breeding and hybridization.This is gonna be an epic grow season .The temps are a lot better so thing can get started.
The girls are big enough to move to theyr final place in the garden.The soil temp is still pretty low but day temps are great in the 20 deg cel .so now the tending starts in earnest.I have more plants than the garden can handle so imm going for a lot of pots this season as well.
Well i geus this canna garden might be a little bigger than expected.This will be my official grow diary for the season unless i want to start diarys for specific plants that outperform all others.
I have been out of touch for a while but the girls are doing well.Summer has arrived at last.The girls are growing really well as the days are getting much longer.Ill be updating the diary regularly again.In the meantime i started a geurilla grow so ill post some pics when i visit the site again.
The girls are still happy Training has been succesfull so now its time to just tend and make sure all goes well.This week we had lovely rain that was so welcome as it is the first of the season.
One of the girls started intefering with the washing line so the misses gave me carrots.Ihad to bend the girl down and fuck she broke.Ijust taped her up and happy days here we go again.she recovered fully and is now bushing up nicely.Best of all no more kak (shit) from the old lady
Last week i fed the girls with 3:1:5. I think i fucked up a bit as im getting grow tips that are yellowing.This is the first time i have this kind of problem and will need some advice from the community to sort it out if at all possible.I really dont want to lose the plants and start over even though the season is still long enough for a rerun.
Ihave a problem with my girls that i dont quite know how to fix.I fed them last week with 3:1:5 fert.The grow tips of the plants are yellowing at a alarming rate.Can anyone give advice on how to fix it.the older leaves are fine with no signs of nute burn.
