I had too start Diary from 3 weeks ( Day 21 ) as i forgot too take pictures earlier on.. There coming on well so far apart from minor leaf tip burns as i had plastic bottles over them for the first couple of weeks and they touched the edges on a hot day.
Another week of sun, they seem too be fairly Healthy. I had trouble with one of the plants, where it was found on it's side as it wasn't properly rooted. Lost a bit of time on that plant but hopefully i will still get something of her.
Another nice week of sunny weather, there beginning too shoot up a bit faster now. Going too hit explosive growth shortly. All is going fairly smoothly so far. :)
Another nice week of sun again, been lucky so far with the weather. There into flowering now, starting too show some nice purple colors on one of them.
Yet another nice week, All shooting up quickly at the moment. Nice purple colors showing more and more by the day. The tiny one i messed up in the beginning is making a nice come back although slightly smaller than the other two.
Another Nice week, All Exploded in growth over the last couple of weeks. Shot right up now. Also packing on some nice flower. Going darker purple now on the two bigger ones.
Another good week, Packing on the weight now. Lovely dark purple buds on the two big ones. The small one is staying fairly green but showing hints of purple coming through.
Finally coming too the end, Looking really nice. Unfortunately had a fair bit of rain recently right as the buds are getting bigger.. Looks like i will need too pull slightly on the early side as i have already found a couple of tiny bits of Bud rot showing up. Better too salvage what i can than loose the lot.. :) Apart from that though they are not looking too bad. Really nice dark purple buds and strong berry Aroma.
Gave them all a quick flush while i could a few days before hand with 6 litres of water each. And left for a couple of days before harvesting. Last feed was 1 week ago and had a nice shower as well too help with the flush. Luckily managed too time it so i could leave them in the sun for 2 days after the flush so they could dry up a bit before pulling up. Timed it right as it was due too rain tonight.. Didn't want too risk bud rot attacking more. Also had a minor defoliation couple days back too. There looking really beautiful though and got some nice aromas coming off them. As for weight i don't think i will get an awe-full lot but what i do get should be good quality.
Really nice smoke this, Especially after a week of curing. I've bought blackberry kush locally before and i would say this is nicer. Grew really well, the only thing being i seemed too have lacked in weight. But i did have too pull slightly early. I would say it is more of a night time smoke being dominant indica. Really nice body hit off it and relaxes the mind. Works well before bed. :) Tastes and smells very much like Blackberries. Although all 3 phenos have slightly different Taste/Aroma all very much like blackberries. One of them smells so strongly of blackberries when i open the curing jar it is unbelievable.. Really nice. Great strain over all, would recommend growing it. 👌
The overall grow cycle of this strain went pretty well apart from some minor miss-haps here or there. Really enjoyed it throughout, Was nice too watch the plants turn into that dark purple color towards the end. 😎
This is actually 2 weeks into cure now, just some close ups of one of the little nuggets in the Sun Light. Came up pretty nice, got some nice colors coming through, some nice pinks, blues, purple, black and more.
@Treighfunky, Your Welcome. I am not sure as too whether too take notes and do my diary offline first until i finish and then post it up of my next grow or do it as i go. But the last couple i done offline and posted up as i finished. Just smoking some of my Blackberry now after 2 weeks of cure.. OMG it is very nice now. Especially after grinding it up. Beautiful aroma and taste, and a really nice relaxing feeling off it too. Such a shame on the amount i got, i could have got much more i am sure. But it's a good start. I know you tend too get less of an amount with organics generally speaking but i am sure these could have given more than just a Quarter each. 😅 The skittles sounds really good, i would like too give that a blast too.
@Treighfunky, Yeah it sure does. Haha, I got the wedding cheesecake too and the strawberry pie, the girl scout cookies and one of the gorilla cookies. 2 of all the others.
There coming on nicely, quick germination and sprouting too. Had too start them all outside though which i put bottles on top for now but i am worried when i will remove them as for a couple of weeks they will be very prone too insect attacks.. Hoping they make it through. I am growing organically/Bio. I did have a look at your leaf burn problem, it is very hard too identify alot of problems there are so many things that it could potentially be. Looking at yours though it does look like a nute burn of some sort as that tends too show up on the tips before anything else. What nute i don't know, could be a lack of one nute which has locked out others. From what i gather sort of got to experiment a bit and over lots of grows you will pick up things. I am sort of a newb at the moment though only done a couple of grows really. But i am picking up bits all the time so if i do find anything i shall let you know. Good luck with it, Hopefully you find out what's wrong soon enough. If it is a nute burn i would suggest flushing it and then re feeding on a lower dose. 💪
Looks delicious @Emery1991. Thank yo for putting up the follow up pictures. A lot of folks say they are going to do that and rarely do. Loving those colors man. I think I may have the green phenotype of this one. Happy Sunday brother.
@Treighfunky, Thanks, No worries. Beautiful aren't they. 😊 The greener pheno i got was the plant which i messed up in the beginning and wasnt expecting much at all from her. But in the end she came back really well and too be honest has one of the nicest tastes and aromas, all 3 phenos i had were really tasty in there own way each one being slightly different. Nice too have some variation. Thanks brother, you too. 👊
@Inganjawetrust, Thanks mate, I've actually finished it already. :) I decided too put the diary up after i finished as i had a bad previous grow where i started a diary and lost all the plants and so i thought id make the diary after i finished this time. 😂 Not got the best weight but really good quality smokes. 👌
@Ned_Grows, Very Nice Indeed. It tastes and smells very unique. I have never come across any like it before. Got a mixture of lavender, berries and incense. Good stuff. 👍 I Still have most of it left as I've been curing it now for over 2 months. The aroma and taste is very strong now. :)
