They are all bouncing back from the transplant nicely. Much faster growth today than I have been seeing in the past. A lot of yellow on the bottom leaves, I drilled holes in the bottom of my buckets, (Should have done that in the first place) and watered my plants until 10-30% run off. 24L of water later they are much happier.
I attempted topping on both my Northern Lights, and My Girl Scout Cookies. The Northern Lights went just fine, but when topping the GSC I nicked one of the Lateral Branches. What should I do to fix it?
right now I have boxed myself into a corner, a heavy snowfall mrevented me from getting my (heated) shed setup with my grow tent. so I was forced to ad-hock a small LED in a closet. Today I am setting up an empty closet with a proper 600W MH HID suspended from the roof, to get the light closer, I will also have a 6" fan hooked up to the hood. That being said, how far away would you recommend I hang the light from my plants? - Update: I started setting that up and realized how ridiculously oversized it was, I'm building a small propogation setup using 3 75W plant lights.
@RedEyedRenegade,
Light Closest~ Sunlight Furthest
150W 8" (20cm) 10" (25cm) 12" (30cm)
250W 10" (25cm) 12" (30cm) 14" (35cm)
400W 12" (30cm) 14" (35cm) 19" (48cm)
600W 14" (35cm) 16" (41cm) 25" (64cm)
1000W 16" (41cm) 22" (55cm) 31" (79cm)
But keep it 50cm away from the plants till 2 or 3 sets of leaves are there to take all that light in! Regardless of heat,lightburn is always an issue with HID.Not on here yet but been using 600w MH/HPS setup 2 years now and learned that the hard way early on..
You can always bury a bit from the stem when you transplant,given that it is hard enough,it will just grow roots when covered and lightly watered around it.
There's quite a bit you need, if you are willing to put a couple hundred dollars in to this we could really help you turn this around... I'm willing to help you if you are interested, as that's how I learned how to grow. :)
