Started documenting this plant a little late, apologies. Everything is going great though... started LST just after week 2 and she has a nice flat canopy. I can see 8 or 9 flowering points all nice and even.

Your growth is looking very good so far! Are you seeing any pre-flowers? Typically 5-8 weeks after germination the plant will be mature enough to flower and produce a decent yield. This is dependent on the genetic characteristics your strain has. If you are seeing pre-flower you should be good-to-go!

I have a pure white substance on the top of my soil, should I be worried. My RH is at 50% and temp is around 26 in the day, and 21 at night. It doesn't seem to be effecting the plant at all. What should I do? Thanks

I had the same on mine. Just scrape away all visable areas and dispose of. Can add more new soil if you like but let the top dry before watering again. Hope this helps

leaf tips pointing down Over the past 5 days I've noticed my leaves are starting to point down.. but otherwise are looking healthy. Its not nitrogen burn or wind burn. My RH is around 60 and temp is around 26.5 daytime and 21 at night. Also she isn't root bound. Any suggestions?

That is something called "the claw", is a symptom of too much nitrogen (grow nutes); see also how dark green colored are the leaves? They are supposed to look light green, not dark. 1.3 EC is a too high for this stage, 0,8 EC (400 PPM) is much healthier for now, 1.2 EC to 1.5 EC (600 to 750 PPM) are level of feeding for plants in the flowering stretch. Stop feeding for now, let it consume whats already on the soil.

fed her to much nutrients, just for the next few feeds im going to hold back and give her just spring water. The leaf curling isn't happening on any new growth since. I scraped of the white powdery mildew, waited for the soil to dry and topped the pot back up with fresh soil... and its not returned....yet 🤔😅 I'm not seeing any pre flowers yet, I'm hoping in the next week or so. Day 47. More stretch, leaves are still curling down a little so i stopped the nutrients 2 waterings ago. Any advice is always loved ❤️

I had some steady grow time last week. I had to defoliate almost every other day just a little. Still no pre flowers yet. Took away the bottom 15% to allow more light to reach the soil. Still no nutrients but planning on giving half recommended dose on next watering.

More demolition and less nutrients. Things seem to be improving massively. The smaller bud sites are catching up everyday. I'm also letting my soil dry out much more before watering.

Lots more growth and she's getting tall with tonnes of flowering sites. Bottom 50% has been trimmed to allow better air flow. Giving her a small amount of flowering nutrition to start with.. I will increase the dose when I feel she needs it

Nothing much to report. Its growing nicely. Tricombs are already showing...and loads of them! Tomorrow is watering day, going to up the feed a little but use fizzy water instead of plane. I only take leaves away that are blocking bud sites... only 2/3 per 7-8 days.

Do I need to flush when I am only using organic nutrients? I am getting mixed messages on the Internet and various forums... some do and some don't, whats best? Thanks as always 😁

When you grow straight into the ground, organic, there is no flushing. You really dont need to but I did when I grew soil in planters just for a week. No need but it's really up to you. Flush one leave the other. See if you can taste or smell a difference. Cheers

Been a really nice week, slow, but steady growth. I'm going to slowly half the amount each feed until only water for the last 2 weeks, I have decided not to flush her, I don't use much nutrition, so only giving it a heavy water last 4/5 feeds should flush enough to make it enjoyable. Shes looking good up to now so fingers crossed a nice harvest. 🤞

Grows beautifully. Pest and mould resistant. Would highly recommend for new growers. Lots of frost and smells beautiful. Could have gone an extra week but time was not on my side. Took a sample bud that I'm going to speed the drying time up so I can post my high/taste review. Overall great and easy plant to grow.

Could have waited one more week, but she has done fine. Lots of growth, 5 main heads. Lots of pop corn buds. Can't wait to smoke it. I could have trained it better also

Hello! Good looking grow you got going on here! I have a recommendation in regard to your question about the "white substance" on the top of your soil. I have had great luck innoculating with beneficial bacteria and fungi. I probably go overboard these days. Anyhow, you may want to try adding some Mycorrhiza and maybe Serenade or Garden Friendly Organic Fungicide. I use all of them because these actually support plant growth in numerous ways, but also they compete with bacterias and fungi that could be harmful to your plant and detrimental to your health. If you have any questions, I am happy to share information. I am somewhat a NOOB myself, but I have done countless hours of research. I do have a few grows under my belt, but just now starting to get everything dialed in.

@FoTwenny, thanks, I will pick some up
FoTwenny

@GeekSayWhat, I do add to soil mix and when transplanting, but I also top dress before watering periodically. I know Great White makes a water soluble Mycorrhiza product and I believe Extreme Gardening does as well. I also just started using Recharge as a top dress. It has some other strains of beneficial microbes too. I have started focusing more on the soil. Bigger roots equal bigger fruits, so my goal is to keep my root zone alive and happy! A diverse rhizosphere is part of the key to success when growing in soil. I hope you find this information to be useful! If you have any other questions please feel free to ask! Cheers and happy growing!

@FoTwenny, thanks for that, can you use Mycorrhiza as a top dressing? I'v only ever seen it used on the roots directly. Can you recommend anything I can top dress? :)
