Seed germinated in glass of water until dropped (12-hours). Seed placed in plastic bag with moist paper cloth for 48h (until seed sprouted 1cm). Prepared Coco Choir by flushing it in PH corrected water 2 days before planting. Seed planted into small containers and set inside a grow-box for keeping high moisture, Im only using my two light strips (3219K @ 10W), ill keep it at that until i plant over in bigger pots. Watered with filtered water (0,3 MS EC water with a PH 5,6) - Added 10ml/l Rhizotonic for stimulating root growth, this raised my EC to 0,6 and my PH to 6,3 which is fine for now. The Jack Herer sprouted 8 h after seed hit the cocoa, and it seems fine so far. The Early Miss sprouted after 20hours. About my setup: This is a full size and pretty new Samsung fridge that had a defect compressor. I ribbed it inside, washed it a couple of times and disinfected it a couple more. When it was all clean and shiny i mounted diamond pattern mylar sheets to all the sides and the door using 3M double sided tape. The fridge is hermetically sealed in every spot, and i have used sealant around every inlet outlet. The black gaskets are not leaking any light either, so it is impossible to see whats going on from the outside. The fridge has the following equipment: *Horticulture 135W QB V2 R-spec *2x 10w Light strip from a local hardware store. *Ventilation setup with thermostat controller and an efficient carbon filter which reduces the odour from the inside. *Inlet fan (80mm) using a cloth filter to block bugs and dust from entering. 240mm pc fan moving large masses of air really slow around inside the cabinet. *Hygrometer to see the current environment moisture. *Wifi camera, so i can check on the girls while at work. Im trying 2 plants to begin with, Im not totally sure if the space is big enough, but ill just perform LST and use nets to make the best out of it For future upgrades on this grow, ill might get a auto grow pot system.

Good week. 1. New pots. Changed pots to 7L fabric pots: Im going for lots of air to the pots using active air supply to give roots the much needed air that might be lacking in a confined space. Im not starting it before the seedling is settled. In the pots i added 5cm of pebbles in bottom to keep moisture, added a air stone in bottom, added a mid layer of coco mixed with 3-40% perlite and a top layer of cocoa mixed with 20% perlite and 5% pebbles. Plants will probably have to recover some from this so i prepared to see them a little stunned. 2. Watering. The prepared pots was a little dried out before adding my seedlings over. So i rehydrated the cocoa with 1l pure water (5.7ph) first and 1l of nutrient mix 12h later (Rhizotonic, Cocoa A + Cocoa B) 3. Light. Fired up my HLG light at 50% today. Im testing a little to see how the seedlings react to it before slowly moving up to the peek terretory. 4. Conditions. With new light and growing space i was a little worried about overheating, but so far it seems that my filtersystem are able to pull enough fresh air into the box to prevent overheating. The temps has been stable between 26-28c thru the day, this is pretty good concidering that its summer. The lamp are running 24h and ill switch over to a Day/Night cycle if i get overheating issues. Humidity is around 40-45%, happy with that. 5. Plant. Stretching a little to much for my taste, so i added more light to work against thst, colour seems nice, but they are hanging a little (probably due to changing pots)

So, this have been a crazy week. My house where struck by a not expected heatwave, and my autopot watering project caused some issues. I rigged up a autopot in a tray for both plants to be able to autofeed for the next weeks, the plants was fine for a few days but suddenly the got all kinds of symptoms (drooping leaves, lighter green in colour, light brown spots, collapsing). With the heatwave i cought the grow area to hit 38 celsius a few times, and this with really good ventilation inside and outside, guess this is the backside of a compact and insulated grow area. Fix: 1. Jumping off the initial 24h light cycle to a 18h on 6h off, having the 6 hours on the hottest parts of the day. 2. Lowered my growlight wattage down by 15%, Kept door open on worst hours so the fan could push the heat from light out. 3. The CoCo has some issueas wirh a few nutrient vs dirt, so i started adding CalMa to prevent defficiancy. 4. Plants kept having symptoms of overfeeding the following days, so i removed the autopot system and let the pots dry out for a few days. Now the plants looks as they are recovering. Strange thing is that both of the plants had the exact treatment before and after. But it looks like the Jack Herer took more stress than the Early miss.

Having seen signs of overfeeding last week, i dried out the coco and and only gave water for a few days. This seems to have fixed the issues i had with my plants. They are thriving and late this week i did my fist LST on the plants, i was unlucky and broke of a small branch that was pretty snappy (Probably due to issues earlier). But the plant did recover from this shortly after. Ive been feeding some Co2 just to test, and found that the plants like it alot. It was really noticable the day after a gave them the bottle. The Co2 is a mixture of Yeast/Sugar/Water just shaken together in a bottle with a few holes in the walls. This week is first time ive been smelling the plant. i have a pretty overkill Coal-filtration system for this small of a area so it came a little unexpected, but to mitigate smell ive been keeping my plant checks to a minimum of 2 times a day.

This week the plants have stretched a lot, More bushy and oily leaves, they seem to finally thrive in their confined space. Since these are growing in a tight space i have to be a little aggressive on the LST to keep them low, the plants reacted to this round of LST with more solid branches popping out. The biggest plant on the right did show signs of pre-flower in the end of this week, so im preparing for flower on both next week. This week it was a clear bud smell in the whole room, i have figured out that this happens pretty fast if i dont blast my windows open, due to the same air being recycled in/out of the box. Early Miss and the Jack Herer are both stealth-crops when it comes to smell so i think the heavy smell might be a little stress related from earlier events.

First bud development achieved, plants still look pretty healthy, but ive noticed a small hole beeing generated (possible from to much stress from LST)

Noticed a EC buildup in my runoff water, so i flushed the plants using tap water over 7.7Ph and ran about 50l thru both plants to get the EC to normal again. The plants did show signs of high humidity and nutrient trouble, when recovered i added a small ammount of bloom and more calmag to the mix. Bought a De-humidifier to reduce the high humidity.

Started adding more bloom to the mix and normalize the nutrients again. Plants aren't showing any issues on the top layer. but have a few dying leaves in the bottom due to little light from the bushy canopy. Did a minor trim of leaves to prevent mould even knowing that this might stun the plants, wasn't worth the chance. I'm fully aware now that 2 plants is waay too much for this setup, next grow will be 1 plant in a 20l pot instead. I changed light schedule some so the plants get more time to heal. Water consumption has gone up alot, and i almost have to water every day.
