So, this have been a crazy week. My house where struck by a not expected heatwave, and my autopot watering project caused some issues.
I rigged up a autopot in a tray for both plants to be able to autofeed for the next weeks, the plants was fine for a few days but suddenly the got all kinds of symptoms (drooping leaves, lighter green in colour, light brown spots, collapsing). With the heatwave i cought the grow area to hit 38 celsius a few times, and this with really good ventilation inside and outside, guess this is the backside of a compact and insulated grow area.
Fix:
1. Jumping off the initial 24h light cycle to a 18h on 6h off, having the 6 hours on the hottest parts of the day.
2. Lowered my growlight wattage down by 15%, Kept door open on worst hours so the fan could push the heat from light out.
3. The CoCo has some issueas wirh a few nutrient vs dirt, so i started adding CalMa to prevent defficiancy.
4. Plants kept having symptoms of overfeeding the following days, so i removed the autopot system and let the pots dry out for a few days.
Now the plants looks as they are recovering.
Strange thing is that both of the plants had the exact treatment before and after. But it looks like the Jack Herer took more stress than the Early miss.
