This is going to be my first grow ever, I decided to plant the seeds directly in the soil, i made a small hole threw in the seeds, and sprayed it with water, then i pinched the soil over to cover the seed, sprayed some more water and put a dome over them. I'm going to be using the 3 part GHE nutrients. Day 3-4 i just fed them some pH corrected water around 6.5 pH. It's day 7, i last watered them on day 5, the soil is still moist, I'm gonna wait one more day for the soil to dry a bit tho before i water again.
Day 8, the pots dried out a bit so i watered them slighty with just some pH corrected water, around 5.8-5.9 pH.
Day 9 I'm not going to water since the soil is still pretty moist. Both girls are growing healthy and strong.
Day 11 - watered with plain water pH 6.3, couple more days till i start giving them nutes.
Day 13 - still feeding plain water pH around 6.2
Day 14 - I'm not gonna water them today and tomorrow i'll start feeding nutes for the first time.
Yo, i was wondering when should i start feeding my autoflowers, I researched it a bit and it seems like everyone is doing it their own way. Im on day 12 today and still haven't fed them any nutes just pH corrected water. I'm gonna be using the 3 part GHE nutes and some CAL-MAG.
Hi,
Wait until the second week of grow. The seedling need to be well established. When feeding start at a low % and increase the % every week until you reach the manufactures requirements. Sometimes they have feeding schedules so you can check those out.

Day 15 - I fed them their first dose of nutes today, EC was 1,7 mS and pH around 6.3, I actually didn't need to use any pH down since the nutes already lowered the pH levels to a perfect 6.3-6.2 pH. I'm looking forward to this week!
Day 16 - No need to water them today, they picked up a lot of growth since yesterday!
Day 17 - I'm gonna step off the nutes for a bit till the plants get a little bigger, little dark spots appeared on one of the leaves but both the plants grew a lot the last day so they're certainly enjoying their nutes!
Day 18 - Slight nute burn on N. Light, i've made a mistake and fed them too much nutes as their first dose. I'll feed water couple more days till they get bigger and then start off with a much smaller dose. Other than that both girls look good tons of new leaves are shooting off by the day!
Day 19 - N. Light seems to be muted, one of it's leaves instead of having 2 arms it only has 1. Both girls got nute burn but diesel seems to be the healthiest. New leaves are appearing day by day.
Day 20 - Both plants looking strong, I'll wait for them to grow bit more before i feed nutes again and this time i'll feed half the dose i fed last time.
Hello, i have a weird dark spot on my seedlings idk what it is and if i should be worried. I know on these genetics the leaves can turn dark purple but I don't think it would be happening this early. I fed them nutes for the first time yesterday and today this dark spot appeared.
Don't use nutes until your plants get bigger!!
you can burn out your sensitive seedling at this point and kill it before it even hits veg.
Feed nutes once you notice the smaller leaves at the bottom turning yellow.
Day 22 - A lot of new growth, new leaves are appearing day by day, both plants are looking strong and healthy. Today or tomorrow when the soil dries out i'll gradually be adding nutes
Day 23 - Today i fed the a slightly lower dose of nutes, around 1.08 mS and pH around 6.2-6.3, Both girls are looking healthy and strong tons of new growth day by day. Hope they'll enjoy their nutes this time and i won't burn them 8)
Day 24 - Looking great! No signs of nute burn this time, lots of new leaves. Everything is going great, i hope at the end of this week it'll be time for LST.
Day 26 - Fed them the same dose of nutes as last time, EC was around 1.06 mS and pH around 6.1
Day 29 - Today I'm going to train one of the girls, both girls look happy and healthy.
Day 30 - Today i trained both the plants, they already bounced back. Lots of new nodes popping off and both girls look really strong and healthy! I'm still feeding them the same dose of nutes I'm thinking of upping the dose a bit at the end of this week.
Day 32 - Both girls responded good to LST, everyday i open the tent up the smell gets stronger and stronger. The terps are amazing! Looks really promising so far!
Day 33 - I've done some more LST to uncover some of the bottom leaves. I've measured the pH and EC of the run off, on diesel it's perfect and on N. Light the EC is slighty lower than what i put in, not a problem tho it'll correct by itself in couple days.
Day 35 - First pistils popped on diesel! Gonna wait for N. Light to start flowering before i start giving them bloom nutes.
Day 36 - I upped the nute dose to 0,66ml/L and fed 0,75L each to both plants. pH at 6.5 and EC at 1.17 mS
Day 37 - Diesel is in flower, N. Light is a couple days behind but i'll mark it as flowering for now. I upped the nute dose everything looks good i'm planning on giving them bloom nutes at the end of this week.
Day 39 - Done some more LST, and upped the nute dose for both plants. This feeds EC was at 1.35 mS and pH at 6.3. I started giving them bloom nutes since both the plants are showing signs of flower and popped their first pistils. Everything is looking good, tons of new top sights and new growth, everything is perfect. Just worried that the diesel will take up too much space.
Day 42 - I've accidentally snapped the main stem on N. Light while doing some LST which resulted in an unwanted super crop. But oh well I guess I'm going to have to go with that then, I hope the plant recovers fine since it's autoflowers and it's week 6 already.
Day 47 - I lowered the dose of FloraGro to 0.5ml/L since the plants were getting slight nute burn on some leaves.
Day 48 - Done some more LST and a little defoliation.
Day 49 - I decided to lower the dose of FloraGro and up the dose of FloraBloom.
Hello, I've accidentally snapped the main branch while doing some LST which resulted in an unwanted super crop. It's a Northern Lights auto and I'm worried it won't recover since it's already in flower. What do you guys think will the plant recover?
Plumbers tape does wonders for repairs. It should be ok but will take some time to heal. Buds on that branch may be a little behind the others but is should be ok. Very resilient plants. Cheers
Day 57 - Diesel is starting to get frosty :3 N. Light is a bit behind but it certainly catched up in size
Day 58 - I've watered the plants and did a little defoliation to both of them, Diesel seems to be stacking up nicely. Looks really promising so far.
Day 61 - I gave both girls a little haircut and diesel is getting frostier by the day i feel like around 2 more weeks and it should be ready to harvest, Maybe i'll start flushing next week we'll see.
Day 63 - There's not much growth going on rn but i bet there's lots of going on inside rn, and the fats are gonna fatten up pretty soon. I'm doing some LST in mid-flower too trying to spread it out a bit more so the branches can stack up nicely.
Day 65 - I've used some sticks to open up N. Light a bit more and hopefully I'll get more bud weight as the end result.
Day 67 - I'm thinking of starting the flush on Diesel next week. I'll leave N. Light for much longer in the tent so she can fatten up nicely.
Day 68 - This is the last feeding for Diesel, next feeding i'll start flushing it for a week/week and a half before harvest.
Day 70 - It's flush time for Diesel, I flushed with 15L of water, first with 10L of normal tap water then with 5L of pH corrected water to around 6.0 pH
You can start flushing now and keep and eye on your plants for when they are ready for harvest.
If you are using organics just add ph’d water to your plants and harvest when they are ready.
If you are using non organics stop your feeding two weeks prior to harvest and just give them ph’d water.

Day 71 - Did a little bit of defoliation to both plants. Just took away the bigger fan leaves.
Day 74 - The buds on Diesel are starting to swell and bulk up. Really cool to see it first hand over the couple weeks.
Day 77 - Diesel is still all green which is weird. I measured EC of the run off and it measures the same μS of what went in maybe varies by 0.1 μS max.

Don't panic, it will take as long as it needs it looks like you've got plenty of nutes and minerals left in the medium for the plant to use up. The plant looks great, just keep giving enough ph water at double the amount til 10% run off it will soon deplete and gradually fade.2/3 weeks over is not unheard off, just keep an eye on ya trichomes and as long as the amber trichs don't increase anymore than 5/10% its plain sailing mate. When its there no more water 48hrs b4 chop down. You've done a great job with that girl. Well done. Hope it delivers for u 👌👌
Not always burnt tips, sometimes their dry tips. Yellow first and the dry brown. Reason in soiless is usually your nutes were a little on the low side going into flower. Not a bad thing, actually you did very well. So no worries at this point. Way better to be a little underfed than overfed. Cheers bro.
Day 79 - I've done some close up pics of the trichomes and i'm not sure but it appears as some trichomes are slightly turning amber. I ordered a new taller tent along with a microscope so I can have a better look at those triches. Also calyxes on N.Light started turning purple, which means the buds are gonna be purple as well. Really happy about that.
Day 84 - Everything is looking good, just waiting for my new tent to arrive so that I can start drying my plants, cut off a small bud just to have a taste taste before the plant is done drying.
Day 88 - Upgraded to a SecretJardin HS60, diesel is also getting it's darkness time. 48h Darkness before chop down :) I'm excited for the next run, gonna be planting some new seeds pretty soon.
Day 89 - It's harvest time for diesel! After 24h I cut the plant and wet trimmed the buds, then I hanged them in my old tent now I just gotta wait, I've already had a little taste test, but I'm super excited of what the cured product will smell and taste like. Unfortunately after harvesting I noticed mold at the bottom of the pot. I'm not sure what kind of mold it is, but I'm pretty sure it happened because I was being sloppy with leaving the run off water sit under the plants for couple days. Luckily it didn't spread to the inside roots and remained on the surface.
Day 90 - Gonna be starting the flush on N. Light now. Just feeding it plain water for now and I will flush it soon.
Day 91, It appears as all of the trichomes are cloudy, unfortunately my local grow shop didn't have any jeweler loops in stock so I can't really check but what I see from the pics almost all trichomes appear cloudy. I'm gonna flush it with around 10-15L of water tomorrow, feed it just water for next couple days and then harvest it.
I got some kind of white mold in the root area, I'm not sure what it is but I think I know what caused it, The reason is I was being kinda sloppy with letting the run off water sit under the plants for a day or two. Should I flush the plants now and cut them? And will it spread?
That looks like good mold to me. Mycorrhizae is mold/fungus. If you are adding microbes and fungus to your soil, or your soil is a living soil, this is perfectly natural and desired.
Day 93 - I flushed this girl with 8L of tap water then with 4L of water pH'd to around 6.1-6.2
Day 98 - This girls is starting to fade a bit now, EC of the run off is 0.1ug under of what came in that's great!
Day 99 - I've been flushing this girl for a week now so I'm going to put her in the other tent to give her some hours of darkness before chopdown!
Nice sativa with a little body tingles in the back, finger and toe tips. Energetic high but not overly energetic, coped with the nice body relaxation it's the perfect mix imo. I'm not a sativa guy but I enjoyed smoking this and playing some games.
I didn't expect a huge yield from this grow, but my goal was to at least get an ounce per plant, Couple grams under I got tons of experience from this grow tho. Definitely enjoyed it and the final quality of the buds are good, I'm happy with what i got, I'm excited for the next grow :)
Very nice heavy indica with this sweet dank hash taste and smell, after 1 bong hit my whole body is filled with relaxation and a nice head space. This strain is quiet lung expanding so beginners watch out, really smooth on the inhale but the cough will get you on on the exhale for sure. Definitely a evening/night strain, tastes the same way it smells, you get this danky sweet hash aroma in the back of ur mouth, really enjoyable.
I'd say this grow was a success I really didn't expect N. Light would almost yield 2 oz, I'm happy with that. This was an enjoyable grow and I learned a lot for the next season :) It was a nice treat just for xmas.
@Lillau, I agree the drainage is really good, it only takes around 30min to an hour for all the run off to drain out the bottom. And they dry out pretty quick which is good too.
@Aragon, glad it sprouted! If the diesel doesn't sprout after a week or so it might be a bad seed or experiencing problems. You can gently uncover the dirt over it to see if it has broken through the seed shell or not. If it hasn't even poked out of the seed at all after a little over a week you can try taking it out and doing the soak/paper towel method. Anyways, good luck!
@Dafodileel49, i just threw them in the coco and put a dome over it, N. Light sprouted today, diesel is a bit shy and is still hiding in the ground hehe.
