HELP! I'm on week 11, but 1. I've been having a spider mites problem since week 8, and 2. Temperatures in the last few weeks have risen drastically and I'm planting outdoor. So, my plant is lagging. As you can see in the pic, it's at least two weeks behind. I'm fighting the mites with garlic and neem oil, but of course, so late in the flowering, it's really difficult to kill them as they hide in the flowers. The question is, should I continue feeding the plant with P and K nutrients, as they look like they are in week 9, or should I flush them and hope the flowers evolve to the resinous beauty we all crave? Thanks in advance

1. How can I solve the spider mites problem so late in flowering? 2. The plant is severely lagging--should I flush or keep feeding it with P and K nutrients? 3. The temperatures on my balcony reach 48°C in the sun. Should I bring the plant inside, even if it means lower light? TY

Hey Growmie, When you are late into flowering the last thing you want to do is use any harmful chemicals or traditional spider mite removal methods. Not sure how you would do it since your growing on your balcony but the suggested thing to do would be: How to get rid of spider mites during flowering: Make sure that your grow area is sealed as well as you can, tape any cracks in the windows and doors Any cracks in the doors & windows will allow oxygen in and defeat the objective, so this is essential. Set your CO2 meter for 12,000 ppm If you’re using a grow tent, set the ppm to 15,000 – this will allow for any leaks, If your CO2 meter doesn’t go this high, you can use a calculator. Calculate the amount of CO2 you will need for your grow space, switch off any exhaust fans. For example, a 1000 cubic feet grow tent will require 12 cubic feet of CO2, use this calculator for an accurate calculation. Switch your CO2 generator on and leave the room, if you don’t leave the room at this stage – you’re gonna suffocate and die… so this is pretty important After your generator has finished pumping in CO2 turn the exhaust fans on before entering the room. Let the exhaust fans run for at least an hour before entering the room, otherwise, you run the risk of carbon dioxide poisoning. hopefully, I answered your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

Spider mites and heat are prolonging this baby's life (Harvest was supposed to be on week 9). I decided to flush the plant. Hopefully, with a proper war with the little bastards, I'll be able to harvest in a few weeks. If any expert grower is kind enough to tell me if I'm doing wrong, it would be very appreciated. Cheers!

Is it too soon to flush it? It's on week 12 and I was supposed to harvest 3 weeks ago. This week the stigmas were getting brown so I flushed it. Is it premature? How many weeks do you think I have left? It's got spider mites problems but I'm fighting every day. Thank you! 😘

Depends on the type of high you want. Regardless of terpenes and genetics if you harvest with milky thrichomes its the peak of the effects you get sedative and active high. If you wanted fully active high, harvest with clear+milky cristals. If you want it basically fully sedative, just hold on untill its fully amber crystals and you got it. I like to harvest them at a point where some might say its a premature harvest, but i know what i'm aiming for, it just blast my mind everytime, since i need to be active and can't even risk couchlock i harvest with clear crystals. I get less yield but i get the high i want, and its better to get 70% of what you like than 100% of what you don't really want. I would hold onto it for at least 2 more weeks Stay well, and good growing growmie

This auto is infested with spider mites, which probably caused it to be 5 weeks late (more info in the diary). I'm still feeding but planning to flush next week, because I'm tired to deal with mites daily. This morning I found some leaves like this. Is it some kind of deficiency?

That looks more like spray damage then a nutrient deficiency then me. I reccomend to use persimilis- a preditory mite that eats spidermites. 2000-4000 will clean that plant up really quick.

Just looks a little overwatered. I assume you just mean the droopiness and the damage I see was already there due to your infestation.

Next grow spray under the leaves, every leaf with dawn soap and water with a pump up sprayer once or twice a week and they wont have a chance to start. Cheers friend
