Growing Night Owl seeds in 3gal organic soil fabric pots. Starting directly in 3gal containers after seeing how quickly the filled out transplant pots during my other grow. Top of the fabric pot is Pro-mix Herb & Veg, second half is the more nutrient dense Sea soil container mix. Doing this since both are organic/affordable and include amendments not available locally.

I put them under the 1800w x6 blurple and they haven't had any stretching/legginess problems like when they first popped. I think moving forward I will keep seedlings under the 8.5w household bulbs for a week or two to promote dense sturdy foliage then move to more powerful lights.

Its been hot the last week so temps have gone between 72-88F(20-30C). Both Night Owls are doing well, nothing else to report at this early stage.

both plants are healthy and about 16-20" tall. Very slight gas aroma on the SSO. I am giving them deep drenches of water ever 3-4 days and letting the fabric pots dry out.

The space station orange is now the tallest in my tent! Hopefully the stretch is done on both. Loving the structure of both plants compared to the other autos I’m running.

The Good: These autoflowers are stunning. The SSO looks to be done climbing at 27inch tall in 3gal soil and the Cheech is a little more dense at 23 inch tall. They both have put out many more bud sites than my other autos. The Bad: Both Carebears F2 freebies have thrown nanners late into flower. I plucked them but it looks like the Cheech and SSO had some pistils pollinated(browning pistils in pics) The Plan moving forward: Finish both plants, learn lessons, enjoy the weed and keep the potential seeds for outdoor growing for edibles. I'm not expecting Gorilla Glue #4, but these could be fun to grow since out grow season is too short for photoperiods to finish properly.

Smells like skunk, gas and diaper. The leaves are super frosty! These girls are beautiful.

Both plants are starting to fade. Not that important since I’m organic(no nutes.) trichromes are very milky, gonna wait for some amber this time. Especially on the cheech since it’s indica dom and I want to feel it’s full effects.

Almost all the fan leaves are dead/faded yet <5% amber trichomes. I’m gonna chop this week. Unfortunately I noticed some powdery mildew on the Lower leaves of the cheech. My humidity is 35% and 70F tent temps. I think the problem was I turned the cloud infinity down from 3 to 2, and this reduced the air circulation too much. Gonna leave it at setting 4 for all future grows.

The smell: pine/woody with a little citrus on the back end. The smoke: I can’t believe autoflowers can be this strong. This one is a creeper, it hits hard, no raciness, and can put your ass to sleep if you are not careful. Structure: this pheno was long and lanky with small bud sites. Less yields but potent AF. Verdict: fun to grow, high potency, great terps, but too strong for my low tolerance ass!

Smell: oranges, a little pine, very tasty! Smoke: 10/10, great uplifting and happy high. I want to listen to music and dance on this! I smoke mostly at night, it’s not racy or paranoia inducing. I have had Chem, cookies, gg4, and kush, but this sour diesel cultivar is my shit! Structure: nice compact buds with 1.5 stretch and good yields! Very easy to grow and no PM.
