seems like good lights compared to the blurple led i had previously.
my old light was 270 watts, this one is 200w and yet my yield increased by at least 60 grams.
4 stars though cause their lights are a bit too high on the pricing, and it does run pretty hot(although that problem is solved with a 9v computer fan hanging above it.
do you guys prefer leaves on bud or off look? i cant decide. excuse dark pictures, havent seen the sun in a month here
first off shiskaberry is very easy to grow, pheno's differ ,but not very much.
the nodes are kind of far spaced compared to other barneys strains i find, but they make up for it with big tight lower nugs.
the feeding seems to be light to medium, does not take much.
they respond very well to topping and lst.
taste= blueberries on inhale, earthy exhale.
smell=super skunky. i break apart one nug and whole house reeks.
high= powerful,musical,relaxing
edible high= paranoid, burning eyes, hearing dogs bark 4 blocks away
buds= very dense, probably 160 of those 208 grams was solid nugs.
yield= high enough . i got 208 grams off 2 plants with only a 200w light,so i consider that a gram/per watt and i am super happy to finally hit it
what i wish i did differently= i dry trimmed this time to get a smoother better taste, but my plant still dried in only 4 days at 55 percent humidity and 20 degrees.
i think its because my dehumidifier was so high last few days of flower and dried out the buds before they ever got hanging.
next time i will turn humidity from 40 to 50-55 last 2 days get some of the moisture back before i harvest.
overall i am very happy though .next grow = cookies kush 😵😜
happy growing
Nice ! I love dry trimming I call it plucking let’s leaves help maintain moisture for slow dry or vice ripen and there is food in them leaves the plant will use to try to keep going as long as there is moisture present
