Popped from seed within 32 hours.
Deep green leaves and the roots are growing fast.
Unnaturally Low humidity this week caused its first two leaves to wilt and the lights had to be raised.
Low humidity has been an issue this week so the HPS lights has to be turned off as they were reducing the humidity down below 10% and the leaves were suffering. The 600W vipar LED equivalent is doing a great job and the humidity its holding steady at 25%.
I have misted the tent walls a couple times per day to boost the humidity and increase healthy leaf growth.
I was lucky enough to acquire some old Feminised 1996 genetics of the Purple OG kush pheno.
Training has begun and the main 15cm head has been held down via training wire. Photos to come.
Growing fast.
Aphid prone and treated, signs of reinfestation after 5 days.
No nutrient burn, healthy growth minus some might damage in week 2.
First week of flowering.
I use a 3 part nutrient system and as I am aiming to produce right dense nugs, I have forced flowering at 5 weeks and begun to defoliate the plant after these photos were taken.
Bugger all nutrient burn, plant is recovering well from the root rot.
I’ve added some giberellic acid and kelp micro nutrients on the first day of the 5th week, I expect to see some noticeable improvements and overall a much more dense plant.
Starting to get towards the end, the buds are definitely compact and covered in crystals.
This plant stretch quite a bit even under LEDs, anything else is a dwarf in comparison.
Keep nutrients high, varying lights due to temps at the moment.
Also upgraded to en extra 1000w LED.
My gut says I’m 2-4 weeks away from finishing up.
This plant is starting to Fatten up this week.
Crystals are beginning to turn white, hairs are also turning red.
Initially the plant was quite susceptible to the A********* heat, but it adapted quite well. Suffering if the temps go much higher than 32-35C.
I tried to supplement light with a HPS, but heat was too great.
A little bit of nutrient burn in this week, but only the tips of the big fan leaves are showing it. Over all the plant is quite healthy considering how little maintenance has been required of her after defoliation.
