Week 4 from switch in the books , starting to really see some good bud production!
I wish my camera could capture all the bud below the top colas better , but unfortunately the lights are very bright at just over 2 feet above the main canopy ! Planning on taking some dark room pictures next week . This is the Last week of running Advanced Big Bud , finishing this grow off with Advanced Overdrive for a change of pace starting next week !
Until next week, Cheers
@Mike62g, no worries, I'm traveling for a long time now and really enjoy watching like-minded people doing there thing! Good Job man looking forward to your results! Cheers!
I’ve grown this strain a few times now , and I’ve seen faster growth and better results with running a lower ph in Veg , but when flower comes around I always keep it at 6ph to make phosphorus more readily avalable . Anything between 5.5-6 I’m happy with because the volume of water I’m running can make it a challenge to keep the ph on an exact number , as much as I try everyday to keep it at 6

@Herigreen, I ran silica (armour si) in veg , but with my current set up I stop using it during the stretch to allow me to bend branches easier because I find the silca makes branches too stiff ,
As well it’s very alkaline which makes my nutrients solution require a ton of ph drop to bring my water levels to the appropriate ph . I always run silca in veg tho , makes for a strong plant .
Thank you for the advice , always appreciate it
@Mike62g, have you tried silica as a ph-buffer? It should help you to stabilize your ph between 5 and 6. You solve it in a gallon of water and than add it into the nutrientsolution (if you try to solve it directly into the nutriensolution it can precipitate).
Thanks !
I love this strain , grown it a few times now in a row , tried topping this bunch just To see the difference in yield , curious to see the end result
