I've had a rough few days with cluster migraines of and on so my images arent great today. Both plants are at day 13 of flower and stretch is on!! Prior to flowering, I added the last parts of my bamboo frame to hold everything square, as you can just see in my images. The canes guide growth straight obviously, but they were also put there as a way to manage stretch. Stretch in a small space is a bitch, so at flip, I raise my pots as high as I can to fight stretch the old school way. When stretch is done, I tip each branch over until the tops level with the side rail and tie it. You end up with a criss cross lattice of stems low down, but a nice organised row of colas that are really well supported across the top. Once stretch is over I will cover that closely for you. When they went in I upped the EC to 1.8 and PH is at 6.5 +/-. I've no burn at that level and I'm getting good growth so unless they really demand it feed will stay there for now. I have second plants of both strains coming through, and I have the first round of cuts from both strains hardening out now, so will be vaping this for xmas, new year and probably easter 😁😁 Should have some better shots next week folks!! Take care all 🙏

**Both plants are at day 48 of flower, I've messed up the weeks a bit, apologies 🙏 It also appears I've skipped a week or so here ffs. Im disabled and took a fall a couple of weeks back and have had a nightmare time getting back up to speed. Thankfully the plants have been doing their thing and other than a slight growth pause with the SS things have gone real smooth. San Baco Gelato is bombing ahead size wise as you can see in the shots. Only a few weeks left to go now and I'll have some quality stocks at last.

Were 4 weeks into flower and alls well other than the tiniest touch of nute burn. So I've turned the A+B down 1ml and it's not developed any further. You can see I'm getting serious sugar levels on my Sunrise and she has a warm mineral engine oil aroma with a dash of grapefruit zest. San Bacio isnt so heavily sugared yet but she has fatter stockier flowers and smells of musky rich incense, warm brown bread and sweet paprika, awesome!! Her cut is staying for a while that's for sure! I've posted a side shot of San Bacio so you can see how shes sat but I havnt had to get to aggressive to control both strains. Until next week people, stay safe out there.

I've started this diary a little late but all ready to roll now. I do nothing out of the ordinary for germination just wet kitchen roll in a ziplock back like a goldfish. Once popped they go straight into the coco with a solid dose of Katana Roots. Once up it goes like this... 1 - Veg straight up to 6th node in 8 inch pot. 2 - Top down to the best node/ pair of branches on offer, save all prunings for cuts. 3 - Repot to final pot (8ltr tall square) positioning the chosen node level with the pot top, across which is fixed an 80cm cane. Engage each branch L/R on to it. 4 - Veg until each branch is near the end of the cane. From each pair of flower sites select the sturdiest and prune away the other for cuts. Allow each branches main/top cola's to form, only removing small low down fluff if required. 5 - Veg/recover for a week then into flower. This method gives me a dead straight plant with a mohican of flowers, between 8 - 11 usually, that sits within the dimensions of the pot enabling pot to pot growing as if rows in a net. Because of the proximity I squeezed the biggest fan I could into my space to give bags of air movement within and around the tightly packed plants. Would prefer more space but I'm doing all I can to moderate it. See you next week👋

Were at week 6, remember they had 2 weeks on the back burner with low ppm so are a little behind the curve growth wise. They have both responded quickly to upping the ec and growth has been accelerating every day since. I'm feeding them twice daily to keep good saturation of the coco and also to hold feed and PH levels more stable by fully renewing it more regularly. I took the photos 2 days back and they've really kicked on since. Next update will be a potting up and fitting the cane special, oooh exciting 🤪💥🤛 😁

Were at veg week 7 and everything's bang on after the enforced pause. Ive had solid growth in the 2 weeks since I upped the EC to kick them on. As you can see in the photos they're now in final pots and have the cane fitted that I will train them along. . They'll be topped, pruned and tied down later tomorrow. By next week they will be tied down and pushing out sidewards. See you then.

I'm just in a waiting game for the plants to fill the 70cm cane. My space is only 75cm wide so it makes sure I'm getting the absolute most of it. As we go through flower I add canes to hold the plant straight avoiding accidental spread as the weight builds. I also add a cane along the main branch to ensure the building weight on each side doesnt cause the trunk to split. If I'd gotten it perfect the node would sit at the same level as the main cane requiring no extra support there, but nope not this time😁 Once I boosted the feed rates both strains went nuts and I lost control of the structure a little while I matured them. I think we should be going in to flower in two weeks👍

Apologies for the delay this week, it's been a busy few days, all normal stuff though. As you can see in the photo both plants are pretty much at full length/70cm. I'll fit a pair of bamboo rails, 1 on each, to make sure all growth is held centrally. All will become clear soon enough. I'm feeding twice a day, an hour after lights on and hour before lights off. All water for feeds is stored in plastic 4 pint milk bottles and placed around the flowering plants. That means the feed temperature always matches the pot temps as near as is possible to avoid temperature shock. They should both be in flower by next week 👍

Another week, another weeks stretch. The plants are at flowering day 20. I designed my bamboo torture device to cope with it, but I had somewhat of a panic about how close to the light they were getting. I was sat in my w/chair and from that angle it looked like its gonna be tight, but I then realised they're sat on upended 8 inch flower pots, phew panic over!!! I have to wait until stretch is fully done before I permanently tie them down to the canes. You can see the mild canopy un-eveness that will be all levelled once tied, but the Sunrise Sherbert should be done v'soon. The SBG is a few days behind it yet but is looking very compact indeed,a bonus in my space. I have cuts of it already! Weekly supplementals - 1 dose of Epsom Salts - I use it as part of a once weekly soft, low ec, flush. New - I have a Mychorizal product to add into my weekly routine. I add a tiny sprinkle to the coco surface after each weekly flush so its watered in with the next proper feed. Within 24hrs of using it last Saturday, the plants had visibly lifted compared to without. 1 Foliar spray of Shoguns Geisha mixed with Sumo Active Boost. I cant wait until I have some decent flowers to photograph, I get bored with green. Until next time folks, stay safe out there.

Apologies for my absence here, I'm disabled and had a fall two and bit weeks ago that really took me out for a bit. ** the plants are at day 48 but some of the photos are little behind that. Theyve both been perfect to grow although the Sunrise had a grow slow as I think her feeds got out of balance between my wife and I when she took over for a bit. Only a few weeks left to go now and in the past couple of days the Sunrise has began stacking her smallish flowers out a bit. Should be bang on time again now 🙏
