8/14/20 Hello guys. Thank you for taking your interest in this grow. I usually don’t like to start a diary mid grow, however, this Autoflower is starting to take in my interest because of the way she grew and how healthy she look.
I’ve also transplanted her twice. During late vegetation and several days ago when she started to stretch. My pot was becoming dry every 2 days and I couldn’t keep up with it. The craziest thing is she didn’t even stress. And I have to thank the mycorrhizae microbes as well as not disturbing the root balls during the transplant.
Looks to me like she has several more days of stretching before fully budding but we will see. She’s very bushy due to her NL genetics and I have been defoliating.
Anyways, let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Mary JaneUSA, freaky great plant. I have some Seedsman NL auto freebies in transit, I'm wondering how long this grow vegged before it caught your attention and what day in the grow you started? Amazing plant with some great training. I've never topped an auto, now you've got me thinking. Bigger pots also. FANTASTIC! You're my new favorite grower. :)
@Loserofthemonth, hey Dabung, thank you so much for your kind comment. So I believe it vegetated for about 6 weeks. I almost tossed this plant at early stage because I thought I messed up and didn't think she'd survive but she kept growing! I started out in a small pot and then I transplanted during preflower stage and she just blasted off from there. Yes, so bigger pot = bigger yield. HOWEVER, if you start out our seed in a huge container, then it will take much longer and perhaps even rot the roots so start out in a small container. Many will tell you to grow an autoflower in the final pot that you'll grow, I disagree with that. If the plant is super healthy, it will recover fast from transplanting. I also used mycorrhizae for roots as well and I believe that helped. You can definitely top autoflowers my friend. I always top and then LST.
If you would like to dense up your loose buds more you can buy leather or cut up a old jacket and lightly roll the buds in the leather piece around day 2-3 of drying if at 50%rh and it will push all the leave straight out inward and allow you to create very nicely formed buds and also will lock in the flavour of the weed and allow the bud to use the spare leaves still attached with tricombs to acually make the bud better not worse.
:) works trust me and love the nail polish black is prob best colour 🍻
