Don't know wtf happened... but they went crazy all of a sudden... 🤣 no complaints.... Broke 1 of the girls by mistake trying to tie her down, they seem to be stretching, will change the nutrient dosages soon in the week, guess we'll wait to see if I stunted her or if she becomes a beast...?
So the girls are growing rapidly and without issues. The 1 that snapped by mistake has taken no time whatsoever to gain back her strength. She looks slightly behind the rest with flowering though, but no complaints cause I messed her up.
Flowers are forming nicely and everyday I've got to increase my light a few centimeters.
Just from the plant structure, you can definitely go with the less is more approach whilst growing her to fill spaces. I could've definitely saved 2 seeds and worked with 3 instead of 5 in the 3×3. Think she would've been just fine.
Happy growing ✌️
So I left them for 3 days and went for a trip. Came back and they were crazy. The 1 of the left and the broken girl are different phenos from the the other 2 which are in full flower now. I think those other 2 ladies will finish abit later.
Also switched up the nutrients before leaving just to give the buds more of a organic taste. I'll be continuing the organic feeds with 50% of floracoco in this coming week. Decreases the ppm as the same left lady was being fussy, she showed me why though, she wanted to grow abit more.
One love....✌️
Can't really complain, did abit of defoliation as she was she just too leafy and I wanted to try and focus abit on unfocused bud sites.
The girl on the left is huge. I mean she's crazy big. Gonna wait on the other 2 phenos to finish up and then give her more light, I can't do much as I keep trying to tie her but I'm scared of breaking her. Atleast her sister was broken earlier, now is definitely way to late. So I'm being extra cautious.
Beautiful orange and pine candy smells are dominant right now. She'll definitely smell stronger as her buds develop. Lovely purples and pinks so far on 1 of the ladies that's in flower. Hope these colors continue and hit through them all.
Jah bless...🙏
Blue Dream is coming along just like a dream...
She's stacking slowly but surely. I think 1 of the girls is finishing much faster than the others. I'll be watching her closely from now on.
The aromas are evident now, very very strong smells of sweet cherry and citrus welcome you when you open up the tent. Absolutely amazing.
Battling abit of high temps on this tent. Its season change and it's the beginning of spring now. It just hits 27.7°c and filter switches on. Humidy is low though and good enough. I'm praying most of those lovely terps don't get lost or being burnt off.
The new week is all about stacking up...👊
So at the end of the week around the 2nd to last watering for the week I noticed the buds stacked and thick on 2 of the females.
Left me inclined into about a week for the other 1 to catch up to that stage and the last lady which I had broken once upon a time is somewhere in between the 2 ladies which are stacked and the last to finish.
Decided to start flushing.... first time growing in coco and first time growing after 2 years or so. Thanks covid I guess.
Was absolutely stunned first runoff measured at 7150 some odd ppm. That's berserk. But then again I dont ever water to run off.
Took out everything from the tent today. Flushed the plants with tap water at 8.6ph at 30litres and then 10lites of 6.0ph water at the end of all of them.
Smells are amazing the plants look so much better as much as they aren't to their best potential in the tent as I had to cut and remove the scrog I had used for training them. New scrog is in and holding things in place till harvest. Not much I could do. I rather have done it with hard work then having weed that's unflushed or not done correctly.
Smells of sweet cherry, citrus and pine are the top notes of this tent currently.
Really excited to be almost done with my first auto run ever and grow in a while.
Will be watching closely and trying to harvest around a week or 2 from now. If my sugar leaves start to turn and fade quick, I'll give the chop sooner as I can't have them ugly looking buds and the trees are ready. I'm just concerned about the flush and how long is best cause I haven't grown in coco before. Lots of info out there so I'll watch my girls and decide I guess.
Trying to finish the entire tent together instead of a staggered harvest....🙈
Stay blessed y'all....🙏
This week I just watched trichomes and waited on the last lady to finish up...
She could go a week longer, but the other 3 are happily ready to be harvested.
All have about 10% or less of amber trichomes on their buds....
The last lady has about 80% cloudy trichomes....
Some nice colours came through during the week with just flushing them when they asked for water....
The grow was switched off this evening.... 36 hours or so of darkness and then they'll be chopped and hung up...
I'm sure I'll have some numbers on the harvest next week.....
Jah bless us all....🙏
Ladies were given 38 hours of darkness and then cut and hung to dry...
I hang the entire plants up but by just breaking each branch off and hanging them upside down...
5 days down so far.... should be ready for the next stage, which is trimming in about by Wednesday which will be a week since cut but I'll pull her to Thursday if needs be......
Next week will be he weigh in and final numbers of this grow.....
Thanks for being patient guys....
Jah bless....🙏
Blue dream was fun to grow...
Cherries are dominant in her scent...
She's still in cure now, during the drying, she yellowed abit. I did flush her hard as it was my first time growing in coco....
She's got some nice colours to some of the buds and tastes decent......
She's gotten an extra star for the terps on her as much as I haven't tasted enough of her. Just a small taste.... let her cure....
Am sure she's going to be a lovely smoke once done...👊
