My experience with these genetics so far has been nothing but effortless. Over the course of my last three grows I've been attempting to dial in the environment for my plants. And with the addition of the last few environment controls the plants are responding better than expected.
I'm making small changes to the nutrients that I've been using and thinking that perhaps a soil/coco mix might help boost root density and overall drainage.
The buds are ripening at a furious pace and the aromas are filling the grow area; spiced tea, cantaloupe, honey dew, and of course the sugary sweetness of Bubblegum. The smell alone makes this one of my favorite strains. I'll always have these genetics on my seed vault.
I haven't done much defoliating but some of the lowers aren't getting enough light. I'll be trimming some of the obstructive leaves in the following days to encourage more even coverage and light penetration.
Just a watering today. Preparing for the flush which will begin in about 6 days. I have 90-100% cloudy/milky triches on all three plants which is pretty good timing-wise.
I'm looking forward to seeing how these finish up. The scheduled lights off date is Feb. 16 but we'll let the ladies make the final call. 😎
All little backstory; I smoked these same genetics while I was in Boulder, CO. I searched a long time to find these again and when I did it got everything I could offer it.
It was a joy to grow these and the high is just as pleasant. Talkative, relaxing, and clear this strain has everything I remember. I'll be running these again so perhaps some new phenos are out there to be discovered. : 1:🏾
