You should follow a Feed Water Water Water Feed WWWF .... schedule where you check the ppm’s from the drain on each Watering to check the amounts of nutrients left and readjust if needed. Then, it takes 3 days for the roots hairs to grow back to absorb nutrients after being watered. You just need to lift the pots to know if they need water, if the pot is still heavy it means it’s still full of water. Finally, using Cal Mag as an additive, chronically with every feeding is only when you use Reverse Osmosis water. You must know there’s plenty enough Cal Mag in your tap and there’s plenty enough in your nutrients.
