This was a trying week. We lost power on a Thursday evening and didn't get it back until Sunday evening, so she spend 3 days in the dark.
On Day 71, I took her out for a few hours of sunlight and got some great pictures (much better than the ones inside.)
On Day 74, I cut the top cola and put it in the dryer; that in itself was an adventure. It was supposed to go 4 days in the dryer. I checked it at 3 and it was dry. When I jarred it, it was showing 34% humidity after a day. I popped in a Bodeva packet to get it up to 62%. Hopefully, I saved it. I'll keep a better eye on the dryer next time.
I know people are mixed on the dryer. Sure, I'd prefer to hang dry and all that jazz. But with kids at home, in a suburban neighborhood, I'll take a quicker dry for now. Maybe one of these days I can do a proper dry.
@WilliamsUrbFarm, Water is tap that sits for a few days. Nectar for the Gods is a calcium-based nutrient line. If I'm calcium deficient, it must be because my pH has been off. Does that sound right?
