Edited this week to remove week waiting for germination. This week 5 plants above the soil and feeding lightly with canna starter and tap water. Will start de chlorination with full setup and watering. Plants are all happy in solo cups for now
Transplanted all of the plants to their final home and relocated the grow tent. Now able to maintain 23 daytime and 18 nighttime with the help of a heater. Picked up an RO filter for future feeds, currently using water from my dehumidifier. Bit concerned with reservoir temp. Plan this week is to start LST once transplant shock wears off a bit
Due to the better temp control of the new location decided to start playing with light height. Lowered it as low as 36” but plants seemed a bit stressed so I raised back to 48”.
Added a carbon filter back today as well so need to adjust heaven accordingly to maintain those nice now temps. Really hoping I don’t have to add a booster fan.
And we are off to the races!! Growth is taking off, signs of solid root development are prominent. I’m impressed with stem size to height; I checked the bottom off pots and have seen signs off roots protruding on all pots which is a great sign the plants roots system is progressing down. I’ve also noticed the reservoir is close to half empty after 3 days (47L capacity). I gave them one last top feeding around the outside of the pots to encourage further exterior root development. But from now on they will be fed reservoir only (auto pots bottom feed system) as is important with auto pots due to salt buildup in the top soil. It’s looking like a flip to flower is in the near future, 1 week perhaps. No change to nutrients, also atomizing and misting plants before closing tent. I turned on the air pump today, it’s a single pump from Amazon pushing 5 air domes through a 6 channel manifold with one channel turned off. Air is pushing 24/7 at the moment due to lack of splitter with my automated light switch, once that arrives I hope to ensure pump runs are more deterministic. For now I have a heater ensuring temps no lower than 18°C inside of the tent to make sure the roots stay happy
Day 4 update
Refilled reservoir with a slightly lighter feeding than last weeek. Partly because I ran out of cannazym and rhizotonic, and seeing a few brown spots on the leaves (see photos). Also raised the light, I think I’m seeing light stress in one of them.
Not too worried as I raised the light and did some lst
Looks like I have 2.5 feet of actual plant grow space

End of week update:
Plants are thirsty! Went through 87L of water this week! Picked up more rhizo and cannazym this week as well as a scrog net, fresh batch of nutrients back to full strength. Looking to flip to flower next week
What could cause the yellow edges on the growth of new leaves that’s affecting only 1 plant. Soil of this plant also seems to be more moist than the others but all are bottom fed via autopots.
Your ec needs to be at 1.4 to 1.6 your ph needs to be 6.0 to 6.5, 6.3 best for flower. Check your runoff ph and ec levels and get them in the proper levels and things will get better. Old damaged leaves will not improve. Cheers
Did half the feeding strength as normal this week to reduce EC and see if I ca solve the yellow tips I have appearing. At the same time I’ve done another defoliation and more training with the scrog net. All of that said, flipped to flower light cycle today (12/12) and that means mixing up a new batch of nutrients tomorrow to better support flowering, although I do plan to keep the feed on the light side until they start putting on weight or colour improves on new growth
Start of weeks feed and change of light schedule. Raised light to 4ft above canopy to give them a bit of room to stretch in the coming days. Likely going to do so another defoliation Friday.
Week 2 of flower starting off strong with great growth day to day. Proceeded with a defoliation again to let air move around, light to get through and allow room for new growth. This wil likely be the last defoliation until closer to flower in order to not stress the plant. The same goes for training. Lots of preflower pistils showing, looks like the flip to flower has taken fairly well. All new growth is looking good as well
Update Wednesday: reservoir empty and needed to be changed. Scrubbed it with scotchbrite pad and vinegar, cleaned the feed line filter and circulator fountain pump filter in the reservoir. The filters I clean every change, however this is the first scrub since the grow began. Usually I simply rinse it very well with very hot water. Anyways, nice to see lots of pre flowers appearing, lowered the light a tad to make sure the plants aren’t stretching and just to make sure I have some room to raise it as they stretch into flower. Nutrients stayed the same as the last feed. Average ph is 6 but on a fresh tank I take it down to 5.8 and let it raise to above 6.3 before bringing back to 6 and keeping it there so the plants have access to the full range of nutrients.
Had a couple cold days this week for the plants as I sorted out an electrical gremlin. Heater is back, slowed the fan, reduced air intake to try and better maintain heat. As long as humidity stays in check. Starting to see lots of flower development. Upping feed slightly.
Plants are super happy! Bud development is off the charts with more sites than I can count. Cleaned up dead leaves and new growth only today under the canopy to keep things tidy. Also added in ok 13/14 today and ran out of boost so only a 1/2 dose there. TDS meter also kicked the bucket so flying blind for a bit.
Everything continues to run nice and stable! Buds are putting on weight and I’ve given them hair cuts to allow for better light penetration to the lower buds at the end of the week. Feed reached its peak levels, step down next week and then 2 weeks of flush
Started lowering feed rates, picked up a good red meter so nice to start monitoring that again. Might do one more week at this feed level, or switch to flick and do a 2 week flush. Flowers are fattening up and tons of trichrome production, fruit terps are starting to come through on the nose
Buds are stacking! Terps are really coming in now, smell has switch to massive fruit! Moved fan to the floor to blow upwards on the plants to prevent the buds from shaking around too much now that they are covered with trichromes. At this point I’m am mostly concerned with humid management and air flow to prevent mild as these big buds fill out. This was the last week of feed, next res will be be close to pure h2o for a week and pure h2o for the final week. Wean the plants off the nutes. Ph adjusted to 6.3 now too to better facilitate late flower needs
Only water added to the red to top it off this week. Cruise control till harvest, heads are looking creamy and most pistils have changed. Harvest is looking very close
