Sadly my beans did not pop. I will take BD clones at appropriate time and size to match other six beans. A hiccup, indeed. But its not the end of the world. I'm funny about planting extra seeds. I hate throwing viable seedlings/teens away. So, I successfully cloned 3 BD they have shown roots through their 1.5 inch rock-wool cubes. I transplanted the three BD clones to one gallon fabric pots.
The blue dream was successfully cloned, or rather monster-cropped. Roots showed from rockwool, and I transplanted to soil.
The nutrient section of the journal just doesn't jive with organic growing. I applied a foliar preparation of triacontanol and amino acids. The prep. was 4 parts per million. I wanted to start low as I am searching for a minimum effective dose to really make these ladies grow. I watered in some natural sugars to breath life to my living soil. I am currently on the hunt for mulching.
The Blue Dream by ILGM has finally begun growing, having taken nearly two weeks to propagate by cloning.
I began training the clones now that the roots have taken hold. Now its time to grow a nice even canopy across the three strains, GSCE and Gold leaf both by ILGM.
I transplanted these three girls to 3 gallon pots. I put a buffer layer between old and new. They seem to be very happy in their new homes.
the clones are finally starting to fill in. They are as old as the other 6, but they, the 6, were started from seed. This is my first living super-soil, and its alive alright, fucking fungus gnats. I need to get a handle on them. Do any of you out there use bti as a biological to control fungus gnats? If so, could you explain your treatment regiment with bti. Thanks again ; )
When I see this mutation, it is often on clones (monster cropped) I cut from plants with flowering hormones active. As others said its not a big deal, and your grow is looking good!
I applied high nitrogen bat guano and bti to control fungus gnat issue. I will transplant these girls this weekend into 5 gal pots for the upcoming flip.
I put them into 5 gallon pots, and I'll wait about ten days for the flip
I defoliated and lollipopped for up coming flip
