How do I now when to flush. My 2 ladys are doing well so far and if i get 100 grams of each ill be happy.
I push air in to get as much fresh co2 round the tent and it keeps the sides out for more room my exhaust fan runs if needed but most of the time its off. I'm not to bothered about the smell it's quite nice really but getting stronger. I would appreciate if someone could help me with the signs to start flushing witch is probably 3 or 4 weeks away if i go by 11 or 12 weeks i seen on here.
Its my first grow I'm growing smoothie auto what week do I flush or what to look for to start flushing. In the dairies I see most people flush on week 10 or 11.
Don't flush. It doesn't change the makeup of the plant or the harshness of the smoke. Harshness comes from bad curing. People prefer the taste of unflushed bud. That's where the science is right now with it. If you must then flush around 7-8 weeks into the flower cycle
it depends on when you're going to harvest. I'd flush 1-2 weeks before you plan to harvest your plant. If you're seeing trichomes starting to amber, I'd say that's a good time to start your flush, so by the time 30% of your trichomes have ambered, you won't have any nasty nutrients in your plant that can cause harsh smoke.

Looking fantastic my friend. Great job on this grow so far. You are right. You do have some weeks left. Flushing signs will be dependent on what effect you're looking for at harvest time. If you like a speedy high (not my cup of tea) look for those clear trichomes and cut when you're happy. If you are in the middle and like the best of both worlds, you may want to wait until your trichomes are cloudy and turning amber. If you are using a jewelers loupe, magnifier, or digital microscope you can check your trichomes daily to see how fast they are progressing. If you are using soil you want to flush for at least a week or better if you're concerned of the flavor profile or other issues associated with not flushing. Flush times will vary based on your medium. I'm still a rookie in this game myself. I'm just sharing some of the things I've been excited to learn about. People here are awesome and someone with more experience than I will drive you home. Best of luck on this one 👍
