This is an all organic, no-till living soil grow. Mixed approximately 120 gallons and outsourced all of the ingredients. Once the soil came to ambient temperature, I let it sit for another couple of weeks. Added around 250 red wrigglers and Canadian night crawlers once the soil was moved into the bed.
Successfully germinated 57/60 seeds. Used the paper plate/wet towel method and once they popped I placed them into a jiffy puck.
After a few days, placed the jiffy puck within the 4 inch pots seen here. Let’s see how many I’ll actually keep! Will find good homes for the ones I don’t keep 😉
Girls are growing bigger everyday! Looking really good. The worms are loving the root zone in the 4” containers. A good amount have actually moved from the bed into the containers. Very pleased with what I’m seeing. Out of the 56 girls, I would say about 50 are looking solid already. More to come...
