The plant struggled initially due to the stem collapsing during a hefty watering, though it began to see an initial growth spurt. It was fed 500ml of PH7 tap water in FloraFleur Compost soil (pH6 fertiliser enriched).
A slight increase in water feed due to the temperatures with some Tomorite (4-3-6) ready at hand for the following week. The plant is undergoing some LST at the base, now that the stem has strengthened. Growth is healthy with close spacing between nodes.
The NL Auto began to receive a healthy feed of 3ml Tomorite per litre of water. LST is continued with bigger fan leaves bent to allow more light through the canopy. Temperatures were continually high (28-30c) but the plant in veg seemed to enjoy it more so than the flowering Bluematic next to it.
The pre-flowers are beginning to show and the plant has bushed out nicely with good height. LST in some of the lower branches and some light defoliation at the base. There was a slight change in the feed with the addition of 1ml/l Sea Weed Extract (to assist root growth and strength) and a few tsp of Epsom Salts to supplement some Mg into the soil after its cupboard neighbour suffered an N and Mg deficiency.
The NL was put onto a BioBizz nutrient feed increased to 1l per feeding. LST has stopped but defoliation has continued in the lower branches and some larger canopy fan leaves for air-flow and light exposure. A heatwave caused temperatures to head well over 30c for most of the week.
The flowers have started to kick in nicely now. The BioGrow has been knocked down to 1ml/l after the plant began to develop very slight tip burn and I'm considering reducing it further. The Bluematic has now been harvested which will free up space for the NL and will now feature as a light guard for a newly introduced FastBerry seedling.
