Germination begins shortly. Just cleared the room. Beginning setup.
Sept. 3
Room is coming along great so far. Still need to hang film on walls, hang the fan, set up net and center lights. Just small little things after that.
Sept. 8
Well after some delays due to design changes and minor adjustments its just about ready to go. The journey is about to begin.... Stay lit.
Sept 9.
Room complete and setup. Germination starts.
Soil consists of 3lbs of "hot soil" on bottom layer and 3lbs of living soil on top layer.
This is a water only system.
Sept 11.
Both seeds have popped. Dusted root in endomycorrhizal Fungi powder before planting.
Sept 12.
As the new week begins we also begin a new journey. After a few days of misting with ph'd water we have sprouted a fine seedling. All systems go so far.
Will top off soil and give a good watering in the next couple of days. Hoping to reach the hot soil on the bottom over the next week.

Sept 19 - Sept 25
This week has been great so far. Topped upbsoil and watered with about 1l of distilled water. I believe the roots have hit the hot soil underneath. Looks very healthy at this point.

This week has been a breeze. She was watered with about 1L of water so far. She looks very healthy and happy. Not much to do but watch them grow at this point.

Oct 5.
So far she has not received any water in about a week and there are no signs of needing any at this point in time. She continues to flourish, i will wait for signs of needing water to see how long between waterings she'll need.

Watered her finally. I used about 1L of water. She looks very healthy at this point.

Everything seems to be doing well. Watered her today with about a litre of water and will again tm. Removed all 1 and 3 fingered leaves. She looks very healthy so far.

Week was great. She has been just water so far. She is very healthy and almost ready for the 1st net and some lst.
She will be getting some critters for pest control and worms to help her soil with decomposing dead material. Will be trying to keep this soil for as many grows as possible adding only soil amendments at the end of each harvest

Everything is still going beautiful just minor waterings so far instead of letting soil get too dry. I just check by weight of bag.

The week has been great. She is very healthy and about ready for the net and a topping. She definitely drinks a lot more. Will be adding some composting worms and predatory bugs later next week. Also a layer of mulch for moisture retention and to keep top layer of soil moist and dark.

Week has been good so far. All beneficial soil amendments have arrived. Will add later in the week along with net. She looks beautiful and healthy and is about due for a topping.

Week went great, defoliated a few leaves to ease watering. Very pleased with the progress. So far its been stress free. Let's hope it keeps going that way.

Week has been good so far. All beneficial soil amendments have been added to the soil. Along with pumpkin guts for the worms, hopefully to entice some love connections. She looks beautiful and healthy and is about due for topping. Watered with a compost tea. Really brightened her up.

Week was great. She is very healthy and tall about a couple inches above everyone else. Definitely needs to be topped, to get these side branches growing.
Will be adding aloe vera and LABS to the watering and as a foliar spray.

This week has been pretty good other than a few pests i found. Whitefly or aphids. Either way they have to go so I've ordered some Green Lacewings aka "Aphid Lion" to take care of problem quick. Other than that she has been tied over to promote lower growth and is very healthy. She was topped and has recovered well.
Watered with compost tea and foliar sprayed with aloe and water mix.
Lactobacillus is almost complete, about another day or so.

Week was good. She grows odd. Even after topping side branching didn't really happen too much. Her sister is a little better and will probably be cloned. Plant is definitely an early trainer. Would benefit well from mainlining.
Beneficial insects have been added and are eating everything in sight. A couple spots of powdery mildew but that'll be taken care of A.S.A.P.
Vegetative stage is over and lights will be switched to 12/12 for flowering tm.

The week has been very good she is very healthy and beautiful. She was defoliated lightly. All bugs are gone and she looks great.
Took a couple cuttings to clone. They were very small cuttings as not much side branching happened after topping. They were put in hydro cloner and are doing surprisingly good for how small they are.
Will probably add some organic bloom booster and silica to help boost production and strengthen the stalks.

She is healthy but is still thin along the sides. The topping just slowed her down I think. Will have to just wait and see how she stretches now. Will add organic bloom booster next watering.

Well she looks healthy but is a short stragglers that didn't take topping too well as it seems to have stunted her growth. Will clean her lower branches up to see if that will help. Bad genetics maybe.

The week has been good she is not a good producer maybe a dozen buds in total. Plant needed longer veg time and more training. The buds are a decent size and look pretty solid already.

Well Merry Christmas to all. Not merry here tho, found a hermie in the bunch. She isn't the culprit. I found one pod growing in a bud and one on the stem. So I plucked em off. She has 2 nice sized buds on her. The seeds were not even close to mature.

The grow went well until flower time. The buds turned out to be good and rock hard, but had seeds also. There was a clone taken that will be used in the redemption diary.

Itll be interesting watching this grow. My current diary or 3, like yours, are organic super-soil. I got the recipe from the folks at Boogie Brew compost teas. Its magic mark's. My first time utilizing these techniques, and thus far its been great. A little fuss in the beginning, a lot of questions, and even more paranoia thinking I somehow screwed things up. BUt you should check me out. I always like seeing your diaries on the home page. You usually take up a whole row.👌💪👍
@Tango_Hotel_Charlie, I have not. I'm not too concerned about it at this point. It helps keep pests down. I noticed the top dried almost over night. It would definitely pose a concern on plant stability in their current state. Not very sturdy but I do have a double scrog net that I will be using for support and lst.

@Tango_Hotel_Charlie, hey thanks. I will definitely check our your page. I have the same thoughts since I've never used this soil before. I definitely like the just add water part of it. I've never seen a plant so vibrant in color. I just have the issue of always wanting to water her because the top layer looks so dry but the bottom is still very moist. Its like growing on autopilot so far.

I try to judge when to water by the weight of the pot,it's easy to over water.
A little wind helps to sturdy them up, hope this helps.
