Noticed a little stretching on day 8. She grew almost 2 inches in 2 days. Not sure if it’s stretching or if it’s normal. I lowered my light from 18in. to 14in. Away from my plants. By day 10, I noticed the stretching stopped. And tiny leaves started to form under the tip of where the seed shell was about to fall off. Day 11 seed fell off on its own.
I noticed a huge difference this week after adding my Fox Farm Nutrients. I only used 1/2 a teaspoon with 1 Liter of water instead of the amount suggested on the bottle. Not only because my plant is so small, but I started this grow with A Pot for Pot soil which is considered “hot soil” so I didn’t want to over it it with the nutrients.
Seems to be taking well to being moved to the 5gal pot. Growing a lot faster after the 2nd day in the bigger pot. Watered for the first time since planting in big pot after 5 days with 1L distilled water (Ph 7) mixed with 1/2 tsp. fox farms grow big and 1/2 tsp. big bloom. Since my soil is considered hot soil I wanted to use less than the recommendation on the bottle.
Not sure if I did this LST training correctly, we’ll see. I’ve been following the fox farms 12 nutrient chart religiously along with their mackerel and
Kelp me and they seem to be enjoying it. I’m noticing more yellowing than I’d prefer so I ordered some cal mag on Amazon which should be arriving soon.

One of things I noticed was how slow the soil dried out when I first transferEd the jiffy pellet into the 5gal pot, when the plant was about 4 inches tall.
I am using the solid starter kit from APotForPot. I can’t seem to find all the Ingredients included, but I do know there’s perlite, coco and a soil mix of sorts. Do you have any affordable soil recommendations for planting seeds directly into 5gal pots?
