Here we grow again, this seems to do well. Bury 8/25, sprout 8/28, week 0 was a success.
Switched to 3 gallon grow bags for this batch, they are easier to manage than big ass-pots, full of miracle grow potting soil. I'm going to see what happens with Walmart garden center supplies for the most part, tomato plant food for nitrogen and a bloom mix for flowering. I started with a "1200" light that draws 235w with the cooling fans and added a thin aluminum "1000" full spectrum at 100w and 5 side lights that draw under 20w each off Amazon. I have right at 600w total from the socket in led light. I intend to top this and otherwise use little technique beyond picking off really large leaves and bending stalks away from each other
This is looking super dank. I wish I hadn't have topped it at this point, hopefully the buds will get much larger as it evens out. the sister plant that i didn't top seems to have the same structure plus a huge main cola. this has been a very skinny group of plants, which is cool, the NL and CS bushes take up a little too much room.
the plant is okay, the sister plant is much better with its top intact though. It was anyway, my exhaust system was off for a few hour accidentally and it got up to 115F and the large leaves cooked. The other plants in the tent were okay but plant b was is taller and in the back corner
The buds have gotten really fat and the leaves are getting drained, very close to harvest. Both of these will be right at the 8 week mark. These pics are day 54.
This plant finished 2 weeks faster than the previous, possibly due to lower humidity and more light. I should not have topped this plant. I will plant many more Fastbuds blackberry but I won't be topping them. I really like the huge main cola from the first plant and this sister plant. The b plant weighed about 40% more.
It has only had water since the sugar leaves began to drain, it has been dry for a few days prior a dark period. The buds look great, darker than the previous plant with more amber. I will be trying to keep better control of temp and humidity in the future.
