1st Grow, try to get to harvest

Well it hasn't been the greatest couple of weeks. Hard drive went out on my computer then ended up losing my phone. Luckily my phone was found at work but didn't have any pictures from when I last uploaded. A quick run down: everything was going fine until my barley used bottle of PH down went bad. Could not tell if it was my PH meter of the down so ordered a PH calibration powder, meter was accurate but the PH down was reading at a 7.03. I had to use my tap water un-PH'd, which is a lil high, until i could get new up and down. Bought General Hydroponics up and down kit and glad I did, plants started getting locked out. It took a about a week for the plants to start returning to normal. I started tying down the tops with garden twine and adjusted every couple of days. Both plants were top dressed with down to earth 4-4-4 and worm castings. This grow is doing much better than my test run although it is week 8 and neither have started showing signs of flowering yet, I guess that will mean bigger plants. I also bought a humidifier and set it to 55, I was letting the moisture from watering to humidify the tent but it would get up to 80% then at the lowest 35%. I will need to get a dehumidifier later to help keep the humidity in control. Also got a couple pot stands to elevate the fabric pots off the ground. I have also stopped the compost tea as I was noticing some burnt tips, I kept the PPM's low so it shouldn't have been too hot but after stopping the tea I've seen no more burnt tips. Slowly improving although not sure why my plants seem to be shorter than other autos at the same grow time. Could be my light not putting out enough power or there is an issue with my environment? Will continue to making small improvements until the problem is solved.
