This week was fairly standard. Plants are just being raised slowly from seed; watered, monitored, and cared for. Will start tipping and training in the coming weeks.
In between week 3 and 4, I potted up my photos in 15 gallon final containers. I pre-amended the soil using the same nutrient mix so the plants wouldn’t be shocked by more or less. The photos doubled in size over the last week in their little starter cups and showed exceptional growth. Will top dress with nutrients in about 3-4 weeks depending on plant signals. Also started light bend and secure training and topped main only once. Will continue training with plant growth.
Week 5 is standard growing. Didn’t do anything this week besides water my girls. Everything is growing well and training is not causing any problems. The girls are all slowly filling out as they acclimate to the outdoors and bigger pots. No complaints so far.
So in week 10, you can see the plants are growing really well; they’re full and bushy and luscious green. I’ve started to super crop on top of the already bend and secure and topping. Things are growing great and I’ve also top-dresses the pots over the last few weeks. Nutrient quantity has been increased to be a little more balanced with flowering season coming in a number of weeks.
Week 13 - my granddaddy black plants are shaping pistils and are stretching out. My other girls are lagging in starting flower so I assume that being a much more Indica dominant plant, it’s flowering out much earlier than my more 50/50 hybrids or my Sativa dominant super lemon haze. I’m definitely getting more excited about these girls as time goes on.
So I’m not updating week to week which makes this a little more difficult, however, here you go. It’s week 17 total from seed popping out of soil. My girls are maturing like a fine wine at this point. Stretched out and bulking up. Apologies for the photos; I’m sure some of you will notice they don’t look so happy. We had a strong heat wave come through and my girls were a little dry this morning I took the pics. Watered them deep and everything prayed in thanks up to the sun.
Week 19 total - Honestly, the photos speak for themselves. I can’t really say much besides these plants are FANTASTIC!!!! They look amazing, smell AMAZING, are shining like diamonds in the sun and are bulking up daily. I’ve been checking them periodically with a wifi microscope for trichome production and they’re coming along nicely. Harvest is, at most, 2 weeks away. LOOK AT THE PRETTY COLOURS ❤️❤️❤️
