I am so thrilled to take a shot at growing this beautiful elusive strain! I am hoping I can do a good job and keep her happy. This will be my first attempt ever at a photo strain. Let's get this party started 💙
She's starting slow but seems super healthy. Her coloring is perfect. Maybe I'm just used to the quick growing autoflowers? I started micro amounts of nutes today. We'll see if that helps her grow a bit quicker. I want her to be a huge heathy tree (pun intended) when she's ready to chop. I want to see how much of that delicious (I'm assuming because I've never been able to find her) flower I can jar up. I'm excited! At least I haven't killed her yet!
Well, I don't think she had enough light to start off but I've rearranged the entire grow room to maximize the light that the ladies get. She's already perking up. Now that we've started nutes and got the lighting right, I do believe this young lady will take right off. Thanks FOOP for the nutrients! I'm convinced they will help this one take off and become the big and beautiful Hawaiian love that she's meant to be.
Not much to report this week. She's growing well. Taking the nutrients in and putting out good growth. Her color is a tiny bit off but I hadn't put the correct amount of nutes in last week. She should grow just fine now. I think I've got the right combo now.
Steady as she grows! She's doing good. I've started lst on her. Bending her to the perfect spot for light and extra growth. Her fans are pretty and large. I'm thinking I may need to up the humidity for her a bit.
Man oh man! I love her growth! She's growing so beautifully, she's got fan leaves the size of my hand. She started showing the very beginning of hairs yesterday so flowering is just beginning! How exciting to see how much she stretches in the beginning of this phase. Here we grow!!!
I'll get more photos up here later today hopefully. This lady is growing wicked strong. Such beautiful node spacing and the "trunk" is getting nice and thick.
I'm sorry I haven t kept this diary up better. Maui has been an amazing plant for me. The photos of the actual plant here are after I harvested the under buds that were all ready to go. My my were they tasty too! Im patiently waiting for the main cola to ready up. I've been so impressed with her that ive ordered more seeds. Definitely a good grow.
I see this is your first photo period grow. Have you given thought to doing any mainlining training to your plants. I have gotten to my 4th week on my own diary. However this isn't my first grow. It works out very well especially when you top at the third node and keep the remaining two nodes below it pulling them outward and down then topping the second node only once then the third node one last time after the two tops fully form. Thus leaving the first node at the bottom completely untouched allows every stalk ample time to grow in complete unison. It will work out very well and you can with time of course say one month added to your veg time, turning one plant or massive bud. Into 10 massive tasty buds as you put it. I am growing in organic soil with ilgm gelato zkittles and sunset sherbet. I will be following your next grow of thus strain and hope you check out mine. You will find this technique most useful which I am currently beefing up the stalk sizes by forcing them to grow along bamboo stalks as well. Happy growing grow girl and good luck in the future.
@michael_2r1, thank you for all the information. That's top notch of you! I am actually going to give it a go on my next grow. I may hit you up when I go to do it if you don't mind?
I grew the mw out. Didn't stretch that much but the flowers were super frosty and sweet. Liked it so much i cloned and kept her going. Next harvest in a few weeks. I posted a couple bud shots if u interested. Happy grows.
Aloha
