Its day 10 so coming up on 2 weeks since I've seen life! Got a little impatient and just had to post early, they grow up so fast lol! A tiny bit of little yellowing in the center. Increased the water amount on day 7. So far all I've given them is PH'd water.
Start of week 3. Did some training on the lemon kix to shorten her up a bit. Gunna continue to experiment with it. Was a little worried about bending her over but she took it like a champ. Now I'm not afraid to tell her where to go from here on out. Well see how well I can LST her, but for now she has a nice bend to her main stem. Shooting for an even canopy. Also the lemon kix got a little light burn when I increased intensity of light. So i moved the light up to avoid more damage. Almost positive the burnt tips is from the light adjustment I made. Lesson learned. Also wanted to point out the difference in the leaves. The blackberry clearly has those wide indica leaves compared to the lemon kix sativa leaves. Thought that was dope!
Training is a bit sloppy but I'm trying. And they seem to be flowering a bit early? Maybe was late on feeding them? Or maybe they're just horny and showing their sex? lol I'm gunna brew up a compost tea for them tonight for tomorrow.
Cannot believe how fast they start flowering. Had a K issue with the LK I'm pretty sure.. so I lightly re-amended by top dress with bloom dry amendments and I also gave them compost tea 10 days prior to that so they've been fed, but ill keep an eye on the LK. BK looking pretty looks like I got purple boys! Wish me luck! Should probably lower my scrOG net huh?
Blackberry Kush is showin cool colors and has required no attention. Lemon kix was top dressed with bloom last week and it seemed to like it even though there's yellowing still showing. Also the compost teas are starting fungi growth in my soil hell yeah! guessing thats a good sign lol
This is so cool to watch happen! To actually see em day by day, its a spectacle to see. Blackberry lookin oily on the leaves. Lemon kix is startin to get smelly.
Sorry got a lil behind on posting, but remembered to snap some photos. The BK seems to have needed some calmag over time while the LK is loving every bit of bloom dry amendments and teas I throw at it. Both seem to being having some things goin on i hope theyre not too mad at their owner bc im trying!!! Hopefully well get to harvest soon! Say a couple more weeks :) well have to find out.
Not sure what week it is but i know its day 90 and 91 bc i wrote the birth date down .When the site got hacked my account needed 2 new passwords bc i reset it too soon so i got behind on posting on time. Remembered to take photos its just the weeks got off a bit. They're starting to fade!
So these girls have defiantly are getting a lil torture from this cub scout, but I have learned so much just by the feedback given by these girls. I was unaware of taking bottom growth away, but look at the lemon zkittles just firing down low hahaha this hobby is dope! Missed out on some weeks for posting, but I will most defiantly be taking pictures of harvest and smoke report when dried and cured unless I run into some kind of mold problem hahaha fingers crossed.
Shes stanky! Super Sour and Lemony with a slight sweet skunk edge. Pretty heavy smoke, but not too crazy. Took a rosin dab of it and it defiantly made me cough, but the blackberry on the other hand is smooth as silk.
Very easy to grow and seemed to take up nutrients well. Next time I plan on feeding them more and starting them off in a better mixed soil. Was kind of a lazy grow I know I can do better! 😎
@Okiesmokiepodcast, Dude I was like do I have the light up too high? Theyre both stretching like crazy rn. Was gunna rely on the scrog just incase it gets top heavy with the big fat colas i dream of having lol
I just installed my scrog net. I'm a Noob too. I wasn't sure about the height either so I followed instructions to build an adjustable height net. Good luck!
@heizen, Their kinda being slow finishers so i kinda took a break from posting every week bc its enough work as it is lol, but will post an update rn and deff pictures of the harvest and smoke report when cured.
